I did it for my machine, ran into no issues. I am using NFuse. The setup was pretty straightforward. I shared all the app I wanted, and the system is pretty secure.
If you guys use Google's adsense, you might have noticed that have lot of new themes as well. I guess, to make the Ads blend in more with your webpages, and make them lowkey.
P.S. Google Adsense is Ad banner engine, using which you can add Ads on your website and generate some ca$h
I think extreme programming has been always there in form or another (just like evil). It is just the buzzord (i.e. XtremePrograming) that is creating all the hype.
actually this will not work. Google use statistical data to stop the user from doing this. It will almost have to be a DDOS attack (i.e. have thousands of IP addresses click on the AD) to pull this off. In that case it would be much easier just to DDOS the website of your competitor. Just like what happened to SCO.com
The catch? In most cases the upgrades have worse features than the phones they're replacing."
That is no catch. Heck some software vendors force you to upgrade, force you to pay for the upgrade, and upgrades have worse features than the original software.;)
software is cheap, free (open-source) software isn't. When you try to write an opensource software you will many hurdles, but you should be willing to face them.

"SP2 will break some applications because they are insecure," he said. "Security is important, and it is not just a Microsoft problem but a developer community problem. We all need to work together to create a more secure computing environment."
"It doesn't really matter how long it is going to take you to do the work; security is an important issue, and developers need to start doing that work now," Goodhew said.
The IT dept all major universities usually re-ghost the machines every 2 week, if not every week. Spyware is not the only problem on computers at university campuses. There are other serious issues (keystroke capture, homework assignment theft etc) that force the IT dept to re-ghost the machines.
well obviously.... - there are only limited number of ideas, - and there are more blogs than ideas, - so it follows that ideas will have to copied from one blog to another.
first MS Word keeps track of all of my editing and now another MS gadgt keeps track of my life. That can't be too good. Maybe we need to buy one of these for SCO lawyers.
One thing I like about Macromedia apps is that they fully support WebDAV. And I dont know of any good Linux based Web Development app that supports WebDAV natively. So this move by Macromedia will be very welcomed. WebDAV is IETF stardard for WebBased Document Authoring and Versioning, and is very useful in WebDevelopment. Support for WebDAV in Windows based WebDevelopement apps is what forces me to use windows. If Macromedia ports its apps, I will be able to switch to Linux completely.
Typically these viruses (or more correctly, worms) do little damage to the infected computer,
maybe little damage to the computer itself, but they definitely cost a company in terms of IT support calls, and loss productivity. Even though this cost is not easy to measure, but is certainly not a small amount.
What about pine? Though it doesn't a impressive GUI like evolution, but it is the fastest mail reader in terms of usability. It is very easy to use, can be controlled using a keyboard (no mouse required). It support content filtering, LDAP lookups, and is extremely customizable.
I wasn't sure story to read first, the borg technology or MS assimilating (giving money to) SCO. But they sounded similar, so I went ahead with latter one.:)
Structure Documents. Structure Documents has it is own benefits:
# "Write Once, Publish Anywhere" - You have only to prepare single documents; you can either use them as they are with stylesheets or convert them later to different physical media and formats, including plain text, XHTML and PDF.
# Since your documents are in non-proprietary text format, you can edit them with any text editor, and assure their continuity and cross-platform compatibilty.
# The physical layout of documents is separated from the content.
# Retrieving specific information is very esay from structured document.
Start with a Brainstorming tool, and the rest will be easy.

From the article @ Windows XP SP2 could break existing application
according to Tony Goodhew, a product manager in Microsoft's developer group:
"SP2 will break some applications because they are insecure," he said. "Security is important, and it is not just a Microsoft problem but a developer community problem. We all need to work together to create a more secure computing environment."
