Create a virus that installs a P2P client/server on each machine, and then randomly downloads and shares songs on the major P2P networks. Later, when they RIAA files a suit against a user, they can claim that it wasn't them, but the evil virus that shared these songs. Not only is it not the user's fault, but it's Microsoft's, as the unintentional sharing would have never happened without the security flaws!

Although they appear to be more dedicated to mixing your music based on the mood of a song, MoodLogic also has a huge database of user identified songs. You have to pay to use the feature, but you can download it for free and see how it would tag them before you pay.

I work for a Telco/ISP. I have never posted here before, but for this I had to. We won't compensate anything other than part of your monthly charge...eg if you're down for a week, you get 1/4th of your monthly fee as a credit. This is the same for the residential or SOHO connections. We do not guarentee uptime, nor does your ISP I imagine. If our customers want guarenteed uptime, we offer managed contracts. These cost upwards of hundreds of dollars a month. Look at your terms of service, and ask if they offer guarenteed connections. No ISP will credit anything other than your monthly fee for your standard 40, 80, or 100 dollar per month connection. Our basic service is 40 dollar a month for a 1.5Mbps connection. We offer 24/7 service, but if there is an are wide outage, there is nothing we can do until it is fixed.
Not only do I play, but host a NWN PW. www.twilightlegacy.ca

"What makes a good network go neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a switch full of neutrality?"
