I think this is fantastic news! -- that is if I understand it correctly.
Am I reading that, IBM will be selling complete G5 Processor & Motherboards. Will I be able to pick up (probably gnutella copy...) a copy of OSX 10.3 and run it on this system?
I've always wanted a Mac, I've just never wanted to pay for a Mac!
Did the article not miss one MAJOR item in the review ---> the Processor is 64 bit capable, taking into account that Windows and nearly all games arn't ready to take advantage of it, this processor will continue to set performance standards as the software becomes 64 bit ready?
Considering parents are liable for there under age childrens actions... It's something to think about if your a parent.
In alot of cases your kids could be leading the authorities to your mass amounts of pirated software; Windows 2000, Office, Quicken etc!

If you are migrating from an Open Source Unix, Linux, BSD, etc to a closed system such as AIX or Solaris, I'd strongly recommend getting a good support package.
Closed systems generally have little good online material, and people from Open Source systems usually go straight to Google.com when they have a problem.
In a closed system this doesn't work very well.
