1) Out of curiosity, did you share your tapes with 500,000 of your closest friends, some of whom are on other continents?
2) On the moral issue - Musicians should be paid for their work. Yes, it is immoral to continue to take for free when great strides are being made user control of the music.
3) How much is your time worth? Do I really want to save 99 cents downloading a song full of static over a 56k modem that claims to be a T3?
Probably not

As far as I can tell, the author's main concern is that the CIA is not keeping up with the private sector due to security constraints.
All I can say is, thank God. Any recent security poll will tell you that corporations have multiple security incidents per year, even if they take an active interest in security. Do we really want the CIA to publish a statement saying some script kiddie is publishing the names of suspected terrorists?
If someone was publishing sheet music. Clearly, there is a great deal of creativity involved there. But do we really need to protect gems like "Na Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na Na?"
If you really have a problem with what the MPA (not the RIAA) is doing, you can Let them know
The Honeynet project seems to focus a significant amount of attention to the culture of the attackers (extensive logs of IRC chats, for instance.) Do you think the research the honeynet project is doing might make some headway in preventing social engineering attacks (The only hole nmap can't tell you about)?
It seems odd to me to decide on a solution and then develop arguments to use that solution.
IT is generally a service provider for business needs. You present the business users with the available options, outline the pros and cons, and allow them to decide.
The other danger of engaging in proseletyzing is that if something goes wrong, everyone will be quick to point out the guy who did all the yelling about open source.
When did you switch to Mac? I have had Quicken on my mac since 1999. They have kept pretty current, as well. Downloading financial transactions took some time, but is available in the most recent version.

would you get the cost per page for a book. I also buy my art by the pound.

But I would guess they are getting the phased out 5GB models. A little oversotck magically turned into good PR and some word of mouth sales.
Sorry, just finished watching the preview for T3

Of course, the thing to keep in mind is it all went out the window when the Mule showed up.
Compare to power line speeds?
There is a binary anywhere for OS X? Coming from a mac background, I am not up to compiling source yet. And I try to never boot classic.
