    the mpaa and riaa are still suing people who download stuff online so don't get your hopes up. If I was a stockholder I would be pissed at movie and tv companies missing the boat in moving to internet distribution. Only music is half way decent because Apple (and Amazon) dragged them kicking and screaming while throwing huge wads of cash at their faces (which I am actually surprised they accepted, the riaa only cares about control). Idiots.

    the rich need government more than people that don't have very much. The rich also disproportionately benefit from government services including things like educating their employees and using roads. That ads up to the rich not paying their fair share. And if you are at all concerned about the economy taxing the rich a hirer rate is good for the economy as they rich will not just sit on their money and actually invest it / risk it.

    This is what I got too, but I got just the RS812 and that runs about $600. It has a very easy to use web interface and has the kitchen sink in what it supports (samba, nfs, ftp, and all kinds of other services). It is the easiest array I have ever setup and used.

    personally, I like MythTV even better. It will even skip commercials without even needing to press a remote button.

    Netflix was down due to amazon cloud problems that Netflix uses. Interestingly amazon prime that competes with Netflix still worked.

    what they should be doing is improving mental health services. Both the Colorado movie killer and Virginia Tech Killer had been identified with mental illness with red flags. A good system would have gotten them help. And for people that refuse mental health help there are only two options, institutionalization or they do what they want. There should be something like child protective services for people that refuse mental health help with red flags to keep track of them and make sure they get help.
