most credit cards offer a service where they will give you a temp credit card number with a set limit that expires in a couple days. I have used it for stuff like this, everyone is happy (including those that don't know the credit card info they have is useless).
I just started using Miro and love it. Am stuck with a ipod though so I have been saving the files to a folder, deleting my library from itunes, and letting it resync with the files so I can sync the ipod. If Miro starts syncing to the ipod I will drop itunes all together. Also a real bulk export feature that does not require files to be converted is needed for Miro.
haha, you mean like worrying if your credit card information has been stolen or how to fix the red ring of death. People thinking consoles are easier have just bought into having the wool pulled over their eyes.
don't give money when they call and indicate that this is a reason why. On election day don't vote for him and only vote for people that actually represent you.
this guy from lionhead is trying to convince his bosses that their game did not sell because it was terrible, it is because of some boogieman out there they have little control of.
and the shocking bad security for their actual paying Customers. Tells me all I need to know about who they are worried about taking care of. I will never buy a sony product again.
why is there this blinding need to put more tax burden on regular people when huge corporations like GE, Goldman Sachs, and Exxon are making record profits and paying no taxes.
you miss the entire reason Netflix is successful. They give what the Customer wants (control over what they watch and how they watch it), not what some middle manager wants to make his internet throughput look good.
you do realize there are reports all the time of people "accidentally" bring knives and weapons through tsa security. I have also heard about reports that the tsa's own red team has a really high success rate of getting guns through checkpoints. Waving hands to make people feel safe is more dangerous than doing nothing. The naked scanners and other stupid policies like confiscating toe nail clippers needs to be ended. Then money saved can be used for real security.
sure you can over do lot of these practices, but I find that I spend less time fixing bugs when I do them. There is certainly a balance and diminishing returns though.
reading this reminds me of the phrase "too many chiefs and not enough indians". Where I use to work they got rid of all the people that actually did work and kept all the middle managers. Then they all freaked out when nothing got done.
so true. I hate using rhel.

Good to see their failure to correctly prioritize who is important (the actual Customer) is beginning to cause them problems.

I guess you could sell the xbox and use the money to buy games for the PC.
There is, it is called a Gaming PC.

nobody wants to live like the israelis. israelis also build bomb shelters in their homes and live in fear. No thanks.
wasteful spending on these naked scanners that don't do anything needs to be cut from the budget. Sad it is even being discussed.
America is safe so the tsa needs to have their budget slashed and these draconian measured ended. The US is suppose to be free right?
all the good things people use to say about consoles are just not true.

only if you count conservative propaganda as news.
so your solution is to do nothing?
correct, the house is too busy not passing any job bills.
no need to have wars in iraq and afghanistan now that America is safe.
they should at least start calling it what it is.
