    A big problem is a lot of people think the world can work in some type of utopian harmony. The sooner they understand it can't the better.

    On the other hand, making money under the guise of public safety is both wrong and dangerous. You have the right to face your accuser. Ever wonder why in the US you don't get a criminal charge for a ticket? The ticket is trivial to fight for ones in the US and the more people that fight them make these cameras unprofitable. They have also been uninstalled because they are just stupid in a lot of places.

    people in at my work cannot use the new version of microsoft office, because microsoft randomly changed everything. Don't think people are as hung up on the branding as you think.

    I still use MythTV and it is everything I need and other options don't offer many of the features. The killer feature is it automatically skips commercials without even needing a button press. And you can configure menu items to launch other applications like XBMC or a browser to launch netflix streaming. IMHO, still the best solution there is for HTPC.

    anyone doing any kind of business that generates real money should get setup with credit card processing or some type of real bank. On top of randomly screwing people, paypal also nickle and dime people to death. Never will use paypal again.

    then these people have nothing to worry about privacy. The internet will be carved up into a unusable CompuServe like mess with nickel and dime plans similar to the crap cable tv bundle plans by the telecoms.

    actually most of the change was to allow auto submitting of stories from big publishers/companies. They basically changed digg into a paid for RSS ad service. If you hated the gaming of the old site digg I am sure you just stopped using the new site digg all together. No one goes to a website to read ads.

    digg has chased all their users away with the new version of their site so they could probably change over to MS Access and be ok.

    The problem is you expect that the telecoms would act in your best interests. They don't care about you. And Net Neutrality is to keep the internet like it is today and prevent a corporate takeover, which would more or less be regulation and worse.
