"And it just so happens", that is was designed to be in orbit around this comet. It wasn't just shot up at random, and "just happened" to fall into orbit around this comet.
Possibly because a lot of people have drugs or drug residue on them? I am in no way saying that cops never plant. Not even a little bit. I'm quite sure they do. But a lot of people do actually have drugs on them or in the car.
That leads to a whole different discussion of "If so many people do it, why is it still illegal?"
"Seriously though, lack of FM is not a safety risk. That's absurd. if they're really concerned, then have them blast out a text message if there is an issue."
I merely commented to the fact that a text message device is not always available.
Not everything is a 'phone'. My very nice clock/radio/alarm receives AM and FM. I'd be pretty pissed off if I had to replace that (and all the other FM receivers in the house) with some new digital doodad.
Wait...where's the big red (useless) cooling fins? It cannot be good unless it has red cooling fins. Or maybe black, if that is what your theme is inside the case.
"(Anyone with two braincells to rub together would know what landing your contraception on the white house lawn would get you nabbed by guys in black vans in full view of press cameras)"
Interesting autocorrect there. I'd suspect that would gather an indecent exposure charge, maybe.
So: Some Federal agency serves up some rules on whatever
Congress, who is actually in charge of passing laws, says, "Hey, wait a minute. Shouldn't we have looked at this first?"
This seems to be one of those "We have to pass it to see what's in it." type of deals.
I am NOT saying the Republicrats are all above board in what they're doing and why ($$$), but it does kind of seem to be in their bailiwick to investigate before things like this are approved or passed.
A couple we know was telling us about these awesome new locks they got they can unlock their house with an app on their phone. I just bit my tongue until they asked a very specific question which made me respond "if you can open it from your phone who else can?"
Exactly I recently bought a keypad deadbolt for my new front door. Specifically one without any wifi or smartphone connection crap. You actually have to touch it to open. Coworker of mine was extolling the virtues of the one he was going to buy, with smartphone, zWave, all that crap. I don't want the door to unlock simply because I am standing near it with the phone in my pocket.
Yes, they are currently combating, aggressively, the group of dudes that call themselves 'Isis'. That same group of dudes, will, in a year or two, rename themselves, and automagically align with Iran to fight 'some other dudes'.
They do not care what we call them. They just desire the 'power'. And will go after whatever money is out there to get there.
Iran - Iraq war. 8 years of combat. Now 'they' (for various definitions of what Iraq is now) are supposedly aligned in fighting "ISIS". The enemy of my enemy and all that...
Seriously. Cube farm space. This dude is the most pissed off person I've ever worked with. Pounding the mouse, pounding the keyboard, 'not quiet' grumblings. Once he gets fed up enough (daily), he comes to one of the other of us, and starts bitching in person.
Nothing is good enough. There is always some problem, caused by 'them'. 'They' did this, 'they' are out to get us... The days (or hours) when he is not in the office are bliss.

Who writes this crap?
I'd wonder if it would almost make sense to make it 100% tunnels and have it in a vacuum.
Probably tripling the cost.
About the distance from New York City to Baltimore. Or Seattle, WA to Portland OR.
$100bn, just to get there a leeeetle bit faster.
Possibly because a lot of people have drugs or drug residue on them?

'Mail' does not get delivered directly to the White House.
It first goes to an off-site location to be checked.
When it's a second disc with a copy of files from the first disk, or a raid-0 mirror disk.
And that is sooo wrong. RAID 0 is not a mirror of any kind.
Raid 1 - data is mirrored across multiple drives
RAIND 0 - data is striped across multiple drives.

The radio in my car, nor the clock radio next to my bed, does not receive txt messages.

Wrong building. The Capitol is not the White House.
Wrong building.

You need three conditions:
1. Hit the target location
2. Minimal vertical velocity
3. Vertical orientation.
They met #1. It was coming in tilted (for varying amounts of tilt), and way too fast.

That fireproof, waterproof ubersafe does not help when the hurricane or tornado throws it a few miles away, and it ends up at the bottom of the river.
I personally use a Crestron system behind a Cisco router and remotely connect through SSL VPN.
To 99% of the population, that is complete gibberish.

Your Murphy sig conflicts with your statement.
I was mostly joking...
"ride-hailing", not 'ride-sharing'
Paid (taxi) drivers, vs some guy who can give you a ride to the airport.
But yes...no reason Uber would not be looking into this. Other than maybe a dubious cashflow situation...
And comparing Switzerland to West Virginia.... I don't even have words to describe how stupid this is.
Well...similar size, lots of mountains, landlocked, and lots of guns.

No, but it is one pathway out of several.
Seriously.

You, as a manger.....get rid of Leonard.
