    Possibly because a lot of people have drugs or drug residue on them?
    I am in no way saying that cops never plant. Not even a little bit. I'm quite sure they do.
    But a lot of people do actually have drugs on them or in the car.

    That leads to a whole different discussion of "If so many people do it, why is it still illegal?"

    And that is sooo wrong. RAID 0 is not a mirror of any kind.

    Raid 1 - data is mirrored across multiple drives
    RAIND 0 - data is striped across multiple drives.

    I merely commented to the fact that a text message device is not always available.

    The radio in my car, nor the clock radio next to my bed, does not receive txt messages.

    Not everything is a 'phone'. My very nice clock/radio/alarm receives AM and FM. I'd be pretty pissed off if I had to replace that (and all the other FM receivers in the house) with some new digital doodad.

    1. Hit the target location
    2. Minimal vertical velocity
    3. Vertical orientation.

    They met #1. It was coming in tilted (for varying amounts of tilt), and way too fast.

    Congress, who is actually in charge of passing laws, says, "Hey, wait a minute. Shouldn't we have looked at this first?"

    This seems to be one of those "We have to pass it to see what's in it." type of deals.

    I am NOT saying the Republicrats are all above board in what they're doing and why ($$$), but it does kind of seem to be in their bailiwick to investigate before things like this are approved or passed.

    A couple we know was telling us about these awesome new locks they got they can unlock their house with an app on their phone. I just bit my tongue until they asked a very specific question which made me respond "if you can open it from your phone who else can?"

    I recently bought a keypad deadbolt for my new front door. Specifically one without any wifi or smartphone connection crap. You actually have to touch it to open. Coworker of mine was extolling the virtues of the one he was going to buy, with smartphone, zWave, all that crap.
    I don't want the door to unlock simply because I am standing near it with the phone in my pocket.

    That same group of dudes, will, in a year or two, rename themselves, and automagically align with Iran to fight 'some other dudes'.

    They do not care what we call them. They just desire the 'power'. And will go after whatever money is out there to get there.

    Cube farm space. This dude is the most pissed off person I've ever worked with. Pounding the mouse, pounding the keyboard, 'not quiet' grumblings. Once he gets fed up enough (daily), he comes to one of the other of us, and starts bitching in person.

    Nothing is good enough. There is always some problem, caused by 'them'. 'They' did this, 'they' are out to get us...
