    I never said 'the internet getting owned', but rather people. The same people who would be involved in any decision made, be it in a city council office or over the internet. You know...regular people.

    (c) Before a vote is taken on the findings, the military judge or the president of a court-martial without a military judge shall, in the presence of the accused and counsel, instruct the members of the court as to the elements of the offense and charge them---

    (1) that the accused must be presumed to be innocent until his guilt is established by legal and competent evidence beyond reasonable doubt;
    (2) that in the case being considered, if there is reasonable doubt as to the guilt of the accused, the doubt must be resolved in favor of the accused and he must be acquitted;

    What jury? Manning is in military jail. Military trials don't work anywhere near the same way as civilian ones do.

    And it is quite clear you have zero clue. Yes, they are different. And quite often there is a 'panel' (consisting of officer and/or enlisted members), which is equivalent to a civilian jury. And if by 'barbaric' you mean an automatic appeal process in serious cases, well then go with that.

    They're not trying to protect anyone: they reveal everything and let the consequences be responsible for themselves.

    On their terms and their timetable. They most definitely have not 'released everything'.
    Also, Wired releasing this supposed info could influence an eventual jury (one way or the other).

    Take a look at the google street view cars. That camera is pretty high up.

    Even ignoring the fact that the woman's underwear was apparently visible from the street in the first place ....

    That's not necessarily true. The cameras on a Google van are much higher than the average person. What is visible from the cam truck is much more than what is visible from standing in the street or on the sidewalk.

    How can an encyclopedia taint a verdict? Isn't it the task of a court to understand the vocabulary used in a trial?

    The definition of 'rape' in a Wikipedia article may not be the same as what is on the Florida books. And they had been instructed, as is usual, not to do any research on their own.

    Not to go OT, I was trying to find where I can chop the upper and lower black portions of 4:3 video footage for a true 16:9, all the sites I found are bankrupt forums describing using the crop mode in Adobe Premeire (which doesn't work) or useless answer such as "google for instruction manual" (there is none).

    Here Put in 'crop 4:3' in the search bar. Have fun.

    Cox Cable also has a (unadvertised) bandwidth meter. Currently, I get "We're sorry. Your bandwidth information is unavailable at this time. Please try again later."

    Unfindable, unknown, or broken....fail.

    While we will probably never know, I don't think/believe they forced it to crash, but in the fight for control of the cockpit, no one was in positive control of the craft and so it crashed.

    What about the 720p files I shoot on my phone? Store my digitized photo albums, or keep a backup of all the individual songs I bought in case my iPod battery dies?

    Somewhere in the cloud, or the central house NAS.

    Having said that, I agree. My PCs won't be going anywhere anytime soon. But for a lot of people, their little portable device works just fine.
