    Yes but in terms of portablity Linux wins hands down so infact it could win on the desktop in marketshare. Since Apple runs on one platform and only one platform PPC.

    I love the RIAA, they screw over the same people they need money to stay alive. Its great, I'm also sure all of you after reading this what to go out a buy a CD with a label of one of the RIAAs members. They apparently don't know that you can go so far before people get pissed off enough to backlash on you.

    That's why the Linux kernel is very well documented, so things like that won't happen. Its also why SCO won't tell us the code in question because it most likely has Caldera or SCO written all over it.

    This type of thing is common in the gaming industry. People get fired all the time, but are quickly swept up. I wouldn't be surprise if all these people had jobs by the end of next week. There isn't much job security though except the stuff you make yourself. EA, 2015, and Mythic are asking for their CVs, so I've heard.

    Yes give money to the unemployed, well lets think about it for a minute, what do you think the unemployed are going to do with the tax money they recieve, their going to save it, they're not going to invest and they're not going to buy a new T.V. or build a new kitchen. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. First you should fix the unemployment, that inturn will fix the economy. Secondly, the goverment isn't suppose to fix the economy, all their really suppose to do is stop fraudulent companies like Enron and WorldCom, and break up monopolies like Microsoft which they didn't do, and I hope the under the next administration Microsoft will be broken apart like they should have been in the first place.

    How many computers are these companies actually shipping, ofcourse failures will be greater with the more shippments made, there are always going to be that bad "Apple"(pun intended, cause I like puns, I don't know why people always have to write if its intended or not but ok) so to speak. Maybe Apple has less because they aren't shipping as much as IBM or Dell or some other ones.
