Is it me, or does my university have the dumbest cap ever created (500MB internet limit a week). Unlimited Unviersity traffic.
Of course, I have not tried it yet, so don't know if they really care, but that's really tight!
so, can we expect microsoft's win2k sometime soon?
does the DOJ know who a hacker is?

straight off their 'teach the kids how not to crack/pirate' website. and here we go once again, into the definitions.. hmm, perhaps real dicionaries should have def'ns for cracker and hacker, if they already dont
come to think of it, could RedHat be becoming a sort of M$ ? however, they're all after a 'bigger business'. SuSe did it by perhaps releasing a 'better distro', RedHat already has a 'wicked distro' so they move on, and try to destroy suse's distro with their wicked one by 'moving' into Europe. ie. opening offices, etc.. hmm.
its all in a good business plan. and trying to outdo your 'enemies', however, M$ has gone too far, let's hope RedHat doesn't. If it does, it might get some users like M$ has. ie. "i must use it, its the standard, but i don't want to" kind of deal (even though it might not happen b/c its linux, so it'll run on any other distro).
interesting, how the government really shapes your mind through school eh? think of it this way: if you were in private school, the gov. would be screwed, and you could grow up to be the biggest hacker known? but this 'brainwashing' will 'calm you down'?
hmm, so the education system ins actually a brainwashing system.
ie. you shouldn't want to learn from the current education system.
you know what? stick you computer outside in the winter, and see if you can overclock it more! heh.. maybe that's why we can have the fastest networks lol (its 31C outside now, if you don't know what Celcius is, join the world and learn it)..
hmm, Canada is actually awesome for new technology to the public. I'd say its probably b/c its so widely spread, w/o that many people, we need a way to connect. so what better place to intro some new tech =8) there's a lot of room for it too (physically).. and a lot of places that aren't hooked up yet.
actually, we got a pretty neato hose from the fire department once, and got to spray people all ove,r neto stuff,.. it was for a water slide =8) or... mud slide
ok, so I hear something about the super soaker on the radio. and then i come home check out slashdot and BOOM, supersoaker... sorry, but, what's the deal with SuperSoaker getting plugs everywhere today? hmm, that's gotta be neat, having free publicity =8)
Hopefully palladium (sp?) will be next!
life will always go on.
and we are dealing with a dish washer, which, to me (relativistically, of course) looks to be around 1m x 1m x 1m
sorry for the problems. Didn't know it was ever going to be slashdotted.
