I use a different password for my windows and linux systems. I never store secret information on a windows computer. I never share secret information with a windows computer. I never use network passwords from a windows computer.
... and I losslessly rip my CD's with 'extra paranoia' enabled.
Is there a smarter person than me who can tell me how likely it is that there will be worms that can distribute themselves via thunderbird, evolution and the likes that bother the end-user directly?

Who else though it is a site with mushroom-clouds?

Desktops do that by the lack of virtual desktops.

Sounds to me like the "parable of the broken window" effect.

Hey, don't denigrate! Kids can do many things you cant!
Like crawling through tiny holes. Watching the same cartoon over and over again without getting bored. And ofcourse hoola-hooping.
A friend is always asking me if he should buy an xbox or something else. (but he never gonna buy the damn thing anyway)
I never had any good reason to tell him not to buy an xbox, except that is made by Microsoft.
Finally I have a good reason to tell him not to buy an xbox.
Maybe they now stop teasing me...
They described firefox as a technology preview for mozilla some time ago.
I see you can start a new instance of the Mozilla window without the profile window popping up in linux. Finally!
The apple-guy once motivated his men by saying that every second the os starts faster, lives are saved.
If every user has to wait one second, that will be lives-times within years.
Oh yeah?
Notice the TIME STAMP difference... WHAH!

Mr. Torvalds
That it's slashdotted with only one post, I think it is.
I don't know the English name for it, but I think something like the game in which they say:
"Tag, you're it"
In it's primal form it was played with large sticks or stones I think.
So technically the hacker puts himself into danger to redeem Cisco from being evil?
They let the son or younger brother turn up for it by telling him the judge would go easier on him.
More like "Uncovered code" I think?
You mean it is not possible for a sys-admin to create a different location for every user to put his files?
Is it not possible for a windows-virus to just search-and-distroy everything possible?
I don't see the big difference.
At least your kids would not be able to run it.

There are creatures everywhere on our planet. Why whould these places fall exactly within the boundries of possible life.
Or blast the hell out of mars.
Because the creature would scratch itself to death because it can not stand the ache caused by skin dehydration.
