hey WOW i use krl too oh man that brings me back... right now im on a 56k with a really high tech streaming device called a radio tuned to NPR... it streams me news for get this... FREE.
Anyway back to krl i really think that they were the ones that set me up for the life i live now... i remember 10 years ago i used to dial into their boxes and it was an experiance that i am glad of today
Just this afternoon i went to the local library and i used their computers... very nice... i know many people who are going through the same thing today as they get access to DSL to load their mail... i beleive this is where we shoudl spend money.
Paying to lay down broadband to peoples houses will just get the MPAA and friends to sue because the govt. is paying for a "swapping tool". This is where i agree... sorta... the govt would waste money paying for people to download mp3's... i think public terminals is the way to go.
Anyway i hope that Kitsap keeps up the awsome work on providing this to people.
HAHA I have you beat... my laptop can only display 16 shades of gray and because a friend of mine is colorblind salmon shows up as GREY so now he can see "true color" on my ancient black/white lappy... HURRAY!
Actually it was NOT on TV... i live within a couple of minutes of Seattle and i saw with my own eyes what happened. The media showed a huge number of clips of violent vandalism and almost NONE of the HUGE amounts of PEACEFUL protests. There were THOUSANDS ans THOUSANDS of peaceful protestors. On EVERY corner you could find a TV camera and when the protestors came by nothing happened. There were huge police "escorts" around them. They didn't even film the protestors. The only place where violance happened was where there was no cops... no people at all... suddenly someone would smash something. But what DID happen was the TV cameras were SURE as HELL to catch the violence and let the marchers walk behind their backs.
My point is that people DIDN'T know about it. It was another huge distortion. So if you do want to go and protest make ABSOLUTLY SURE that you DO NOT BE VIOLENT. The best thing possible would be a 100% peaceful protest.
BILLION... well if you really want a 1025 bit haircut... 90K-140K which is about 2^16 soooooo your hair can be considered 16 bit... this means that your hair can be given a haircut in.0000000000000387142 of a second... btw that doesn't include the shave...

ok dont be a karma whore and rip off other's work... this is a good example of when someone trolls for +5 posts and copy/paste their way to karma... just dont... this was posted by ---Phosphor3k--- ok so give the credit where it is due...
Well i was looking at Matrox vs. the other card makers on there and i like what i see. The red lines are veryt short and there is a stable rate of release for their cards.
I think that more manufacturers should spend their time making a product not promoting it. Nothing makes me more angry than waiting an entire year for their card that "around the corner".
I am a proud owner of some nice matrox cards as well as other cards and i like the 'G' series matrox cards. I knwo everyone says that they are no good for gaming but the title says 7 years of 3d GRAPHICS not GAMES. I use my cards for theiur duel moniter configs for apps spread all over the place, to me that is more useful than just another 10 fps in QIII.
Well i hope that competition stays tough out there keeping the next card pushing the limits. Thanks to all who spend their time making my puter beter...
but this could mean quiter cases... well of course... but i mean just get a nice used chip (maybe 800-900 mhz) and underclock it down to like 500 mhz... and THEN add this fan that could be awsome... well maybe the opposite of awsome... kinda quiet and undisturbing... i already underclock my proc now but i still have a little noise from the fan and thats on the computer in my bedroom that i like to use for downloading while i sleep... thanks technology...
