buy an usb adapter for the game cube controller from lik-sang [they need money for the lawsuit vs microsoft, so its the slashdot-correct option, too]. the gc pad is recognized as a HID device, and it works with mame right out of the box.
could someone explain to me what exactly the smiley faces in the internet explorer google toolbar addon do? and is there any other interface to submit feedback to google?
i wish people would stop calling id softwares quake/doom series games "sequels" or "uninnovative". in my opinion, these games serve a higher purpose: they put us closer to virtual reality with each title, which is a good thing. they have very few things [or goals] in common with tetris or c&c. -strangeloop
would someone care to explain what kind of an entity bbnplanet is? they seem to own the 256th part of the internet, and they got a pretty low number, too: 4.0.0.0/8. and what is their connection to the DoJ or other governmental entities? after all, there are p2-0.washdc3-cr11.bbnplanet.net (4.24.10.22) and h0-0.usdeptjust2.bbnplanet.net (4.24.239.66) on my route to the new isonews host.
btw, i kinda like the hostname justice2.usdoj.gov (149.101.1.3). makes me wonder what kind of naming scheme the DoD uses:)
A line of code per 16 seconds again sounds good and we can all easily do it by reimplementing something that we've already done (ooh look at my reversing a string function!), but it is astoundingly unlikely that someone could continue such a rate beyond even an hour. If coding were so trivial we would have tools to generate the code.

matter of fact, yes, i think publicy stating "islam is retarted" is against the values we remember anne frank for. regardless of all pro/antisemitic bullshit.
dammit, i dont think anne frank got remembered just for being a jew, so who cares what fortuyns position on this braindead subject was.
all we can learn from this is that today, there are people who think of a major worldwide religion as being retarted [or worse], just like in 1933. fsckin stupid.
..according to this rather random list.
for those of you who dont know, he was a rather right-wing populistic politician in the netherlands until his violent death this year.
since he is credited in the list as "stem van het volk" (i think this means "voice of the people", on the other hand i am german not dutch), and since both ophrah and lady di are also included, i think one should not take this list too seriously.
and fortuyn is even pictured right besides anne frank! now that is BAD TASTE.
please keep in mind that the courts answer to "i am no cracker" would most likely have been "yes, mr sklyarov, we can see no similarities between you and a dry thin crispy baked bread product either".
it seems like most of the people posting here are using the d-link or some other usb bluetooth adapter... however, owning a powerbook, i would very much prefer some kind of internal adapter, namely a pcmcia bluetooth interface.
since [one of] the point[s] of bluetooth is reducing the hassle of physically conneting two devices, it strikes me as rather annoying that i have to connect the usb adapter to the back of my tibook evertime i want to access a phone or pda. it is better than using a cable, but i still have to plug things into things.
so, does anybody know about pcmcia

why did you have to use hitler, its a tasteless comparition, why didn't you use mozart instead?
because i think that there are a lot of people who think of mr. hilter as having been german, and because it always bothers me when some place in austria or poland [or some other place which was part of/ invaded by germany at some time] is refered to as being german. because there are ultra righwingers in germany who would regard a company from innsbruck as being german.

This overflow was discovered by the German security firm Phion; they have posted more info on this page.
contrary to popular believe, austria [the country in which innsbruck [the city where phion is located] is located] is no longer a part of germany, nor has the German government made any plans for a re-annexation in the near future.

Did you or any people you know ever consider the thing you did as a service to society? Is there a notion in the scene that what you did had to be done, not "because you could" or for impressing the peers, but for serving society as a whole?
i ask because i think that the warez scene has contributed a lot towards helping third world or ex eastern blok nations keeping in touch with technological progress. i don't know any specific facts, but it seems logical to assume that the last thing a developing country wants to do is to pay for operating systems on a per-license basis...
so, in other words, did you or your affiliates ever consider yourself as modern day robin hoods [as opposed to modern day john silvers;] ?
Daft Punk [french band] did a similar thing with their "Discovery" album... included was a unique
personal access code which would allow you to download remixes and other stuff from their
site.
and contrary to bon jovi, the only things which squeal horribly in their music are the 303's;)
daft punk btw never allowed pictures of themselves to be released, they wore galactica style helmets for interviews. [unlike jon bon, who, as it seems, still tries to push his personality to the masses as a b-movie actor]
