I absolutely love it. Any time that MS goes off like this and proves that my low opinion of them is valid make me happy. Good for MS, they're still the same company we always knew they were!
It's congress that's the problem, not so much the executive branch in this case. Congress needs to gut these bastards but then they'd lose all the free trips and whores they've been provided.
They'd sold thousands of them. In a market counted by the millions that's very significant. Apple does that kind of crap. Take new technology that no one quite knows what to do with it, package it attractively, market it and sell the hell out of it. So yes, Apple did not invent the smartphone, just the idea that eveyone needed one.
I actually understand that licensing problems drove Debian to remove the cdrtools package. Sadly though, despite your objections to cdrtools it's amazing that it works while wodim fails miserably. Is there some reason we can't have a package to burn optical disks in the Debian repos? I'm actually able to compile this shit from source so I can have a functioning system but the vast majority of users of Ubuntu and other distros think it's impossible to burn disks on Linux without piles of coasters. Just sayin'.
And what's your great creation oh Anonymous one? Despite your mindless drivel few doubt Linus Torvalds' ability. Some do disagree with his methods and attitude. Just because you lack the intelligence to understand his accomplishments doesn't diminish them.
I'm just wishing the Debian folks would do something about putting ffmpeg back in the repo. That shit about the ffmpeg that wasn't really ffmpeg caused a lot of trouble with breakage. I'm not even going to mention that buggy, smelly pile of shit called wodim that made burning optical media on linux go from easy to massive frustration. One silver lining though, I've learned to compile from source.
In Syria it's Muslims killing Muslims and a lot of people see that as a good thing. It may piss you off but it's just a fact, there are a lot of people that don't mind if Muslims kill themselves off.
Some Muslim leaders did protest. Not many but there were some voices of sanity. Unfortunately they are greatly outnumbered. What these guys don't get is that threatening people makes them stop listening to you. All people hear are the threats.
Ultimately if your belief system calls on you to kill your neighbors you aren't going to be a very good neighbor. What makes me even more puzzled is how when a girl gets raped they stone HER for it. What the fuck is that about? Well, that's an entirely different subject anyway.
If it wasn't Hamas it'd be some other group. It used to be the PLO years back. It'll always be someone. It's the way life is there. Their idea of peace is the Jews all dead and them in control. Then someone would be trying to kill them off. And so on.....
Every country in the world has blood on the land. The land of Palestine has been occupied by so many different groups through the years. Conquered and reconquered. It's currently the State of Israel and it is so recognized by the UN. You call it a colony if you like but the rest of us have moved on.
Well if they tried to fight the Israelis in a stand up fight they'd get eliminated in a few seconds. By using civilians as shields it lets them last a bit longer before getting wiped out with the added bonus that Western Media gets a lot of really good shots of the dead innocents. I'd say that means Israel left them only bad choices. I'm not sure if they're capable of choosing to just quit fucking with the Israelis. When you are brought up on hatred it's all you know. I see no solution to this shit, it's been going on my whole life and not getting any better. Well, Egypt did manage to extricate themselves from it but the shitheads killed Sadat for it.
I'm sorry for the semantics problem bud. Didn't mean to confuse you but somehow I'm sure you know what I meant. You were just waitiing for the chance to show off your brilliance. Your welcome.
I do support the corps occasionally by going to the cinema. I love the new GTX screen at the theater down the road here. Movies on the big screen are still awesome to me. I bought an external Blue Ray burner for my Mini. I love renting BDs from Redbox and ripping them. I store them on hard drive and stream to the TV. Nice, and to think I grew up with a 19" black and white Zenith watching Captain Kirk travel the galaxy. Man the changes in the last 50 years.
I bought a blue ray player 4 years ago and one blue ray disk to play on it. I played it once. That's it. Over one hundred dollars pissed away. I did rip the disk to the hard drive so now I have a 1080p mkv file of "The Sound of Music" and it looks great playing from my WDTV live. I do use blue ray for file backup and occasionally burn a blue ray movie disk for friends that just can't leave physical media behind. Trust me though, blue ray support on Linux is dismal and it's only a little better on Mac. Skip it and go digital.
They've given up on ever getting as cheap as coal. The new plan is to outlaw coal so we have no choice but to pay out the ass for energy. Imagine what that will do for the economy.

You went and ruined the sarcasm.

I think the invective is meant to motivate the developer but some people don't respond well to nastiness.

Hey! At least he doesn't throw chairs.
And they're scared.

He doesn't complain, he blows the fuck up.

Don't pick on Joe. His job is really just being there so no one tries to kill the President. As long as Joe is number two man no one would dare.
It's geek stuff. At least it's break from all the Global Warming flamefests.

If that was his point he failed miserably at expressing it.
