    Porn and sex are not the same thing. As an avid consumer of porn, I can honestly say that you're actually looking at an inverse relationship between the amount of porn viewed and the amount of sex had.

    Yeah, but you know their solution is to just trump up a third never-ending war. In addition to the "war on drugs" and the "war on terror", we'll have the "war on netcrime" which will result in nothing less than an increase in the rate of usurpation of powers by the Federal government.

    You mean an Apple product is overpriced?

    That's one way to look at it, in the context of the whole marketplace. Another way to look at it is that they've priced it according to the amount people have told them they're willing to pay. So if it were cheaper, it would be underpriced for that particular offering from Apple.

    Well said. The huge problem with huge companies is that a large portion of their decisions in this regard are made by their legal department(s). And the cowardly results are a direct result with the fact that the legal department's "success metric" is the number of cases in which they become engaged.

    As a leftist, I know there are many people who share my ideological views ... Is the community's political bent directly tied to our higher than average economic success?

    First off, I don't agree that Libertarianism is "leftist" per-se. Secondly, I don't think income has anything to do with it. Constitutionalism/Libertarianism is simply a very logical conclusion, if one is of the opinion that the United States constitution is a very good document for the foundation of government. Given that "nerds" (as you call them) have an affinity for logic, I don't see why the two are such an unusual fit.
