I'm still having the same amount of sex now that I don't watch porn as I was when I was watching porn all the time. Hazard a guess as to what the amount is.
Yes, but since you cut your habit, I'm sure the ratio of sex to "number of horse penises seen on a daily basis" is approaching parity.
The articles comments about Americans having less sex by being online are misleading as for a large part of the online demographic the only sex they get is watching porn and jerking off
Porn and sex are not the same thing. As an avid consumer of porn, I can honestly say that you're actually looking at an inverse relationship between the amount of porn viewed and the amount of sex had.
Legalize drugs for consenting adults, and put the crime-fighting resourses to use stopping cybercrime.
Yeah, but you know their solution is to just trump up a third never-ending war. In addition to the "war on drugs" and the "war on terror", we'll have the "war on netcrime" which will result in nothing less than an increase in the rate of usurpation of powers by the Federal government.
That's one way to look at it, in the context of the whole marketplace. Another way to look at it is that they've priced it according to the amount people have told them they're willing to pay. So if it were cheaper, it would be underpriced for that particular offering from Apple.
Earlier this week researchers with the company ESG Elektroniksystem in Germany demonstrated a form of 'strap-on jet wing' that lets a user truly fly through the air.
Therefore it seems that the French have found secret US satellites.
If they're referring to the moon, that's been ours for a while (finders keepers), and it's not exactly a secret.
unless you're referring to man-made satellites only?
Nobody has a "solution" to it, and the true solution is that advertisers need to buck up and learn that they can't micromanage every single waking moments of our day.
Well said. The huge problem with huge companies is that a large portion of their decisions in this regard are made by their legal department(s). And the cowardly results are a direct result with the fact that the legal department's "success metric" is the number of cases in which they become engaged.
'The BBC Trust made it a condition of approval for the BBC's on-demand services that the iPlayer is available to users of a range of operating systems, and has given a commitment that it will ensure that the BBC meets this demand as soon as possible.
I hate to say it, but that demand has already been meet. Via Bittorrent. Everyone who knows the phrase "Vote Saxon" will agree with me.
As a leftist, I know there are many people who share my ideological views... Is the community's political bent directly tied to our higher than average economic success?
First off, I don't agree that Libertarianism is "leftist" per-se. Secondly, I don't think income has anything to do with it. Constitutionalism/Libertarianism is simply a very logical conclusion, if one is of the opinion that the United States constitution is a very good document for the foundation of government. Given that "nerds" (as you call them) have an affinity for logic, I don't see why the two are such an unusual fit.
what would happen if Google got in bed with the Dept. of Homeland Security.
Well, DHS loves performing cavity searches, and Google's the best search engine out there right now. You do the math.

Just having a character named "Masterchief" always seemed like overkill to me.
Well, it was supposed to be Masterchef , but they couldn't get Steven Seagal to sign on, so they had to change it at the last minute.

the more important point is that 'AT&T has agreed to start filtering content at some mysterious point in the future.'
Just like with bottled water, unless you get the filtered kind, you might end up with some tubgirl residue floating around in there.
A sixth sense, that is. It's called the sense of balance.
No, the sixth sense is when you think you're alive, but you've really been dead the whole time.
This looks promising for people who are blind. IF they can increase the resolution of it would be wonderful.
Absolutely. But don't forget.. for a "spider-sense" like this, with great power comes great responsibility.
Moore has predicted the end of his own law in 10 to 15 years, but he predicted that end before, and failed.
So then it seems with regards to his Law, Moore has fallen prey to Murphy.

isn't any announcement made in text format, by definition, quiet?
I mean, unless you're using the Sam Kinison text-to-speech plugin for firefox.
You mean an Apple product is overpriced?

I'm guessing the ACME rocket is not so good.
Earlier this week researchers with the company ESG Elektroniksystem in Germany demonstrated a form of 'strap-on jet wing' that lets a user truly fly through the air.
That's great, but where's my flying car?
Usenet? What is this Usenet? There is no Usenet. You do not talk about Usenet.
Exactly. The #1 rule of Usenet is YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT USENET.
and refills are $1000.
so it's very similar to a regular inkjet printer then, isn't it?
Believe the Occupational Outlook Handbook?
I wouldn't have guessed that Outlook would function any different for US troops in Iraq, but I guess it must, since they have a whole handbook for it.

If you're referring to man-made satellites only, then, the U.S. will probably be forced to admit, that's no moon.
Therefore it seems that the French have found secret US satellites.

Newsworthy? Colored parrots are going down.
Indeed, but are we talking about African, or European parrots?

this use of National Security Letters "offends the fundamental constitutional principles of checks and balances and separation of powers."
This entire administration offends the fundamental constitutional principles of checks and balances and separation of powers.
As I read it, the submitter is a leftist who is confused about the perceived popularity of libertarianism, not a libertarian.
if that's the case, then why use the inclusive pronoun "our"?
As a leftist, I know there are many people who share my ideological views ... Is the community's political bent directly tied to our higher than average economic success?
