Flamebait coz I used "Arab"!? Whats happening here? O I forgot this is an Amercian forum... And btw it happend to be that Arabs organize all kind of desert races, camel races, car races etc. Maybe I should have said, people living near large areas of microscopic rocks. Pfffffffffftt
The phone is indeed very,VERY cool, and if the price is right, ill be the first to buy one.
But my point still is do not focus on the power in the phone/PDA but more on bandwitdth. So you can get services or run applications from remote machines. This way the phone costless, and can have more functions. And if you buy a new phone you only have to reconect to your services, and not move all the content of your phone. Ofcourse companies will charge much for the services, but the market should counter that. Also consumers can have more choice, without to have to buy a diff. phone if they want more functions. Phone makers wont like this.:)
Getting closer- now if it just had a few gigs of memory for MP3s;)
Why? I would agree with a few hundred Mb (to 1 gig) for data storage, like text files, cache memory, ect, but gigs for mp3's?
The whole point of this phone is to be connected all the time, every where. So I would like to download, or stream my mp3' from an online data storage medium, like my home computer or a music service.
I don't know if GPRS, is allready fast enhough for this kind of usage, but UMTS will.
Correction spanning 4 diff. countries, check the bbc news site if you must.
Also the ant colony, ants being the strongest among the insect kingdom, could technically form a space elevator by standing on each other heads and have the first and probably the largest colony on the moon.
This is actually a big discovery, if completly true, scientists can now easily count the number of newly born black holes (or gravastars or whatever they are). Making it possible to estimate the total number of black holes in the universe, and if you combine this with the avarage mass of black holes, you can account for alot of darkmatter or not.

Anyone tried this on land? Ill bet, one could make a desert verhicle quite savely. And the Arabs can organize aerofoil-pod races in theire backyard.

The energy problem is a tough one. And if satilites keep getting cheaper and smaller, we may never see satelite recovery crafts, just more space junk.
