    In a parallel initiative, cryptocurrency Ethereum has begun work on its Casper platform meant to transition away from a 'proof of work' towards a 'proof of stake' incentive. Same problem set, but profits will go into your pocket, not corporations.

    Interesting when one considers that all the senses typically work together to provide a sense of reality. Unfortunately, the Internet smell dot.com, DigiScent, folded before this announcement. Perhaps the smell of blood and guts would help the tele-surgeon maintain their orientation. Ah, sweet technolust!

    That is the only comfort I have right now!
    I took a Fed job 2 years ago. Riding out the
    recession.

    The down side is I invested my lifes savings
    in Divine and am now praying that this scam works.
    Yeah, disgruntled workers abound, but I lost
    two years salary on this puppy. I would take a 5% cut in a heartbeat.

    Remember how they treat their equipment?
    They drop it off the roof then videotape it from two perspectives, coming & going. Makes for an impressive MM demo, but somehow it doesn't rival the descent of their stock price in the final days (ouch!)
