    If the ebook isn't zipped then there's a very good chance that the entire thing will end up cached by google, wither plaintext (if the original was so..) or "view as html" if anything else is the original...

    the mistake is in saying that the original name was firebird, it was not... I started using it when it was called Phoenix...

    Sorry that I can't give a definitive answer, using a gov't computer atm... but IIRC mozilla and firefox store their favorites in an html file (netscape 7 definitely did...) and you could just copy the file from one directory to another, or look for settings that point to a settings directory? maybe in about:config...

    as for having them both installed, if you use a zip file rather than an exe installer, you can have as many versions as you want installed concurrently, although you may have to set up multiple personal profiles depending on when configuration storing changed, etc...

    Unlike interpreted languages which for the most part implement all code as either line-by-line interpretation or in bytecode form, compiled languages talk directly to the CPU.


    Huh? Do you mean something like Java, where you have a virtual machine, something like Bash Scripting, which doesn't do what you're talking about, or are you merely advocating writing in ASM directly, which AFAIK is the only language with implement all code as either line-by-line interpretation or in bytecode form

    While you may have a point that the people that designed Kerry's site were better informed about the technology they were using(as evidenced by the html comments in the site...), do you really think that Bush asked his webmasters/designers to go make sure his site was hosted on a Microsoft machine? It was probably more along the lines of a friends recommendation "yes mr. president, sir. I've used this company before and whenever the site goes down they're always right there fixing it..."

    1964 is actually better than project64 for some roms now... for example super smash brothers works on it...

    your choice of jabo's outdated plugin disturbs me... the latest RiceVideo-fix4 almost has Susume Taisen Puxxle-dama working... only thing that hampers playability atm is that the sprites don't seem to be working (it's a puyopuyo-like game...)

    interesetingly enough, I have one of the amd64 models offered on linuxcertified (although mine came from avadirect... same specs and laptop case...) , it took about 6-8 hours to get KDE up and running from the time I booted the install CD (from a stage 1 install...)

    any complaints about the PC? just the location of the headphone jack...
