  6. Mueller assures NPR's Rob Stein that the lab the mosquitos are in is very secure, adding that even if the mosquitos did escape they would not be able to survive Italy's climate. "To enter the most secure part of the facility, Mueller punches a security code into a keypad to open a sliding glass door," reports NPR. "As the door seals, a powerful blower makes sure none of the genetically modified mosquitoes inside escape. Anyone entering must don white lab coats to make it easier to spot any mosquitoes that might try to hitch a ride out of the lab and must pass through a second sealed door and blower."

Wow, sounds SECURE! As we all know, mosquitoes are not attracted to dark things like hair and shadows and CO2 and BO and never fly up labcoats because they caught a whiff of one of the aforementioned. Great job at the proactive thinking. You guys rock!!!

Hey Beau! Hey Miss Mash! Why don't you two write a story about how Al can detect mosquitoes for hundreds of square kilometers and NEEDS billions of USD to make it happen.

When I was an intern 30 years ago, the other "intern" (aka neckbeard secretary) next to me was annoyed with being assigned the task of stapling together mounds of documents, and kept saying "Staple self destruct in 5 seconds" and slammed the stapler as hard as he could. Everyone heard him and knew what was going on, and even the VP in the area just ignored it. Passive aggressive trolling the passive aggressive troll by ignoring the trolling is trolling.
