I kind of do a 3d flowchart in my head for some aspects of programming, depending on the level of complexity and repetition involved, and the flowchart components are like little gear things that are somehow associated with a precise purpose. I'm not the most experienced programmer mind you.
Actually, my dog is better at understanding human speech when spoken faster than normal. And also, people instintually talk slower to somebody whom they were informed is dimwitted.
It says they use a sis m650 integrated video, does it have a decent linux driver that can do 3d acceleration? I would pay for "linux hardware" from a company that chooses to use an unsuppoted video chipset to save money if it can only do 2d with it's linux drivers and 3d in windows.
And why should I care? When the gay community supports my special causes, I will support theirs in return. The parent, and myself are OT, please mod as such.
I've never heard of otherworld, but If you meant Otherland , then I fully agree with you. I'd prefer the VR worlds inside of it to actually be a VR game though. That LOTR MMOVRPG portrayed inside the books sounded sweet, and that library world would be pretty cool too. Damn, how I crave a MMOVR game, it'd be a much better substitute for real life than everquest.
Does it mean I'm obsolete if all I have are red/orange/green leds?

I see the same kind of fake news, and strongly biased news come out of the "real" news organizations all the time. Wasn't there a new york times journalist that only printed fake news for years?
Why not just use a pseudonym as the author of the news, and sign them as well. If the pseudonym is unique to that activity it's pretty anonymous, and with a public key, you know it's always the same person.
"Now if people actually paid for what they use, it would be a different story. But some people are under the impression that since they borrowed a CD from a friend, and copied that CD to their computer, it is now THEIR data. Without any regard to the effort and talent that went into creating the music. So the choice is- make it harder for these people to copy the data, or hope that they have a change of heart, and start to pay up."
I have every right to do just that! It's perfectly legal for one(here in Canada), and secondly, I pay for it with media levy's.
"Thus, we actively spy on the rest of the world to keep our country safe. Every country does the same and that's life." Canada doesn't spy on other coutries, they only spy within their own borders.
But if the liberals get a minority government(which they very well could this time around), then the NDP may be able to hold the balance of power, and a second election could be called months later(due to being a minority government) which the NDP could use to further gain. And btw, there is no risk of the conservatives winning, so voting liberal to prevent that outcome is succoming to the liberal FUD machine.
Video editing is definately not up to par on linux, but that doesn't really reflect on the generic "power user". Not to mention that video editing would cost hundreds to get set up in windows.
I'm interested by this, do you have a specific example in mind, or is it more of a gut thing?

And the chicken are REALLY hungry!
The majority of firefox developers develop under windows(or at least it feels that way when comparing the two).

I swear, I wrote that hello world! app in total isolation from other sources.

All the 1337 kiddies will be shouting on irc, "they toally copied halo!".
Kind of like the media in the United States?
Is there some way to see who donates to political candidates in canada?

Reminds me of Ringworld.
