ah... what a classic. I used to play this game alot, and it was often late at night before I eventually could drag myself from my Amiga 500.
I seem to remember that the game was ported to PC as well. Indeed.
Just download Cannon Fodder here, and Cannon Fodder 2 here. Thanks The Underdogs:-)
Yes.. I've played, and bought, old PS1 games for my PS2. There's still good games made for PS1. One of my favourites is still the Vandal Hearts series.
I agree as lots of people here on this message board that Microsoft is making a mistake not having the X-Box backwards compatibility.
I really loved those games. (and I still play them from time to time.)
I would love to see a remake of them. Not that EoB III was that good. But EoB & EoB II was magnificent.
Another game that has been remade is Defender of the Crown. Which was released originally on the good old Commodore 64, but also on other system such as Amiga and the PC.
In my opinion the Heroes of Might and Magic series were the only good games they made. It's too bad if HOMM5 would never be made since I really loved the previous games.
Hopefully some company will purchase the rights to the HOMM-series and release HOMM5.
Man.. I just remembered how much fun I had with the old Kings Quest series and my favourite, Quest for Glory series. But I also enjoyed Space Quest.
I think it's too bad that all games now are "point-n-click". I actually enjoyed typing in what I wanted to do.
hmm.. all those good memories... And the nice graphics aswell. I think it's the expectation that the games now should be so stylish, and they completely forget about gameplay. Which in my opinion is the most important thing.
Anyway.. I could always play those games on my old AMD K-6 233Mhz.
I agree. I have also that syndrome. The hours just passed by, and I could never actually restrain to say no! "I'm going to bed now" (Even though it was 2 am in the morning)
But I also had the same syndrome in Pirates! I played it all the time, and had so much fun with the game. It was worth every single penny(gold coins, that is)
I agree with you there. The whole Gizmodo thing is "fishy".
heh.. nice.... I really liked that song...

Try installing the Power Mac G5 Firmware Update version 5.1.4.
g 5f irmwareupdate.html
That should solve the issue.

yeah.. I have actually tried the P&P game. I think it was actually good.
Of course it was different from the computer RPG, but the P&P version was better( since there was no glitches)
When I was at The Gathering(olympic hall in Hamar, Norway) in 2001 I saw a live scorpion inside a transparent case. That was awesome.
I can't seem to remember once that my good old Commodore 64 has ever crashed. But I'm not certain if my good old Amiga 500 crashed either.
But my 386 SX 16 Mhz running M$-DOS 6.22 crashed a few times, but that was rarely.

Heh.. I agree on that. Let's put him in the _list_!
