Remember the debacle over the copyrights to Mickey running out? Well they got the copyright time extended (bastards) but I bet they were worried. That's why each disney movie for a long time has had "brand" new characters never seen before. (well mostly)
This way, they will retain copyright on them longer.
Maybe there is a lesson in this from Sonny Bono:
Pander to a corporation's interests instead of the people's and you die in a skiing accident.
Oh wait, that's not the lesson otherwise we'd have politicians dying right and left.
I'll admit, I didn't remember that clause when I signed up to use them but I know that I didn't look at it too closely since I assumed that by now I'd be running my own web server.
Heck I just the domain mostly for email anyway.
I have zipped up the mp3s that I've shared to people anyway.
Of course, they say this now after their failed technical and marketing attempts with RAMBUS technology.
Intel lost alot of face. Of course, if those things hadn't happened to Intel, Intel would probably singing psalms to Rambus.
On the west side of town, look into the Walden apartments. Actually there are several Walden properties wired with 100bT, each a bit different from the other. I lived at the "original" one pretty much at Beltway 8 and Westheimer on the westside (near the Tinseltown theater).

Tyco made some blocks several years ago that were very similar (and cheaper). The dimensions were right (plus a few different specialized pieces) but true the finish was different. While I didn't like them as much (I guess I was spoiled), they were good structural elements. I usually used them where they couldn't be seen and built "veneers" out of original legos.
Nothing like the old early bird specials where the first few people in the doors got zillions of tokens for every dollar. Really helped a poor kid like me play alot more games.:)
Why thank you. I did indeed have an idea of how different they were.:)
I'm not saying it would be possible (due to emotion engine or whatnot) but if it was, how better to help a fledging new console than to be able to play games for the other hot console on the market?
Afri-cola is a German cola that I haven't tried yet but I have heard reports that it has 100mg of caffeine per bottle (11oz bottle) and at least one report I have seen says 250mg per bottle. Compare that to the approx. 58mg of caffeince per 12oz can...
Reminds me of a GI Joe cartoon I saw when I was younger where there was aplot to carve the face of Cobra Commander on the moon but QuickKick carved a smiley face instead...
While the flash might have been big and bright enough to be seen from Earth, would there have really been a mushroom cloud? Isn't the shape of a mushroom cloud dependant on atmosphere and convection?
I live in a wired community (apartment complex wired with 100baseT and an high speed connection to the Internet) and one of my neighbors lives in Houston while his employers are in Phoenix (I believe). He flies there for those rare meetings he cannot avoid. I think it takes a strong committmant on the part of the employee and the employer.
I know in my present job, one of our developers moved away but we decided to allow him to telecommute. It didn't really work because no project manager seemed to want to work with someone they never had any "face-time" with.
I know for me personally, I try to separate work and personal life as much as possible. Instead of bringing work home I'll just work later. Home is home and work is work. Plus, I don't get in the proper mindset as well when working at home I don't think.
I know a guy that did this with calculus...
Pretty please?

But it is in their terms of service.

...there is at least one Linux geek "getting some". Hmmm...on second thought, DNA test please?

..would be humans who live their lives having never been on earth.
But only if it is an option. and to think I was just looking at these...

"Oh I'm sure in 1984 you can go down to the corner drugstore and get plutonium..."
Well maybe be not but I can get some uranium and feed it to the lil' breeder reactor in my garage...

It'll be the ESP ISP...
Maybe we could stick it on freenet? My only concern is that little used documents could get pushed off the system...

change the location. No casinos in Houston, Texas (unless they are hiding them from me. I've only lived here a year).
Nice anecdote nonetheless.
