I'm sure a lot of people would love to fire Cox, but I don't see that that has to do with this discussion.
You're talking about Christopher Cox of the Securities and Exchange Commission, right?
As long as this thread is so far off-topic, here's a question for the original poster. If Obama wanted to destroy the U.S. economically, wouldn't the easiest way be to just do nothing about the economy and let it continue to self-destruct?
(I don't really care if "Eureka" is on 'skiffy' or some other network, as long as I get to see it, but I'd just as soon they quit trying to adhere to Sturgeon's Law and either tried for nothing but good stuff or "all crap, all the time".)
It's really a sign of sad things when two of the best shows on TV are USA's...
Well, technically "Burn Notice" is off TV right now and "In Plain Sight" hasn't started back up yet. (but soon)
I'm all conflicted. You got "different from" right (a rarity, these days), but not "copyright". Unless of course you were referring to the writing of copy (like ad copy), which may be governed by some laws or the other, depending upon the medium (once upon a time the FCC said no advertising lotteries on radio or TV) for which it is intended, and upon the governing jurisdiction.
A lot of that dust probably came out of the vacuum's exhaust. If air molecules can be rammed through the filters, so can little bitty dust particles.
If you use a vacuum cleaner, you don't have to go outside. A soft, natural bristle brush is also helpful in urging the dust into the hose.
Pull the cover from the old machines, take an air compressor to them to clean them out...
Make that compressor a vacuum cleaner. You want to remove dust and crud and stuff, not drive it in deeper.
Yeah, but at least she let you watch!
...one's androgynous and one's fat. Nothing like the Internet.
Oh, I don't know. The Internet's always seemed fat and androgynous to me.
That must be why I have no free time in which to read and post to Slashdot.
Oh, wait...
You left out an adjective: Frigid
What baffles me is that online radio used the same argument and lost.
Online radio didn't have the National Association of Braodcasters expensive lobbyists and lawyers working for them.
How did you get modded up for not reading the parent's comment?
This is Slashdot. The next logical step after not reading the article on which you are commenting is not reading the comment to which you reply. :-)
If your goal is to save power wouldn't you just turn off the monitor?
Why would a monitor that is turned off need a screensaver?
How do you answer that one if evil spirits possess you *all* the time?

Have they considered it? Don't you recognize a graduate of the John Bolton School of Diplomacy when you read their posts?
Burn Notice is coming back...
...and not a moment too soon.
(I don't really care if "Eureka" is on 'skiffy' or some other network, as long as I get to see it, but I'd just as soon they quit trying to adhere to Sturgeon's Law and either tried for nothing but good stuff or "all crap, all the time".)

And when BSG wraps up they can just change the name to "Trailer Park Theater".
(and let USA put any new Eureka episodes into Burn Notice's now open time slot)
He's got that dude in the trailer screaming "FIRE EVERYTHING!".
Doesn't everyone know by now that fire and trailers are a bad combination?
People pirate Norton?
Just because they're stupid enough to use it doesn't mean that they're stupid enough to actually pay good money for it. :-)
This is not about Verizon. It is about Verizon Wireless...
So which one bought Alltel, and are Alltel customers who opted out with Alltel going find themselves "stealth opted-in"?
i don't know about you, but when i'm watching porn, i don't instantly think, i want a job right now!
Not even a hum job? You are kinky.
"30 minute for 75 kisses".
Only 24 seconds per kiss? That doesn't sound like very much fun.

"Craigslist is 'the single largest source of prostitution in the nation,
'Old school: Go undercover/hit the streets to round up prostitutes.
Yeah, you'd think they wouldn't bother going after Craigslist after the failure of their earlier lawsuit against street corners.
Some of us had to file our teeth rectangular in order to bite IBM 360 punch cards!
Windows on its own is useless.
That's why they include Free Cell. :-)
Imagine the noise of a beowulf cluster of washing machines
They're called laundromats.
