    You act as if the same things that were used before encryption becomes useless, will still be used after encrytion becomes usesless. When Encryption becomes invalid, at the very least transactions will have to be performed by armored truck. Hopfully the hassels involved will bring a sea change to a non monetary system, one in which if someone doesn't want to work then they are treated as an invalid, and that is their incentive to work instead of money.

    What protections do you take for granted? I don't like being here a whole lot either, but I guess it's better than being elsewhere on the planet for the time being.

    Except most businesses these days implement their websites so poorly. I want to be able to see the inventory of my local stores on the web and comparison shop so I don't have to run around, but no stores do that.

    Copyright is not about protecting innovation for the author, it is about protecting it for the public good. Copyright was given to encourage authors to produce so that their innovations would be made available to the public. Copyrights protect innovation from falling prey to potential authors other priorities.
