    My mom has a VCR/TV that is still kicking and we stored that thing for awhile in a musty old basement. Just clean it and it will be fine. We've always gotten rid of technology before it failed because it was obsolete and taking up space.

    And now you got to check to see if your router isn't lying to you and letting the TV on anyway. They like each other better than they like you for ruining their fun. You are dooming them to living death by not letting them serve you as intended.

    Everything has become more Windows like than the other way around. Binary is just another word for compressed and Windows has moved past that to tokenized interpreted which is even more compressed still, but you go ahead and use as much spacetime as you want.

    Jonathan Coulter did the music on the three main portal games, Lego being the third and Harry101UK does some smash-up work in that department. You can go as low fi as text or as hi-fi as full blown musicals and there's even an unofficial musical of Portal.

    When sci-fi films feel like the only reason we don't have that stuff today is a matter of cost, its really just a dramady and not really sci-fi. The studios need to stop delivering to the lcd if they really want to attract the fans. TV is no different. There's already a patent on a warp drive.

    I'm really looking forward to pirating that prequel movie to the ghost in the shell series, but even free it still doesn't hold a value proposition for me. I even won a free movie poster that I quickly gave away to promote the film, so I feel justified.
