    Intellectual property isn't a crime, but it isn't victimless. Appropriation of culture from the people at large harmful.

  2. That's just it, it won't be an "all out" trade war. The summary mentioned two products, iPhones and cars, China will pick the products that hurt the US the most. What the counteraction will be, I don't know.

    But go figure a small feature get it's own article and make it on Slashdot. Microsoft keeps dropping the ball. I've seen two features already where they've declared the situation fixed when it's still broken. Feedback Hub goes unresponsive.

    The problem is that the sum of human knowledge is both the truths and mistruths that are told and while that information is there the metadata to determine which is which is either conspicuously absent, or has the same problem with misinformation as the higher/lower level layer.

    The intellectuals, the technicians, the business people, even the nobility, have disentangled themselves from the and generally dampened the effects of the vote on themselves and even partake in the vote-selling for a little extra cash for that cool intellectually-pleasing bauble. Either that or engage in vote buying of their own directed at the candidate that promises them the coolest baubles. They aren't immune from wanting to pad their own accounts and believing that this is the best way to come out a little more ahead than they would previously.

    I went to the samba site to see how hard it would be to get a mac version and it appears to be hard to get either a Mac or Windows version, but that seems to be an issue with the developers and not GPL 3. https://www.bing.com/search?q=... turns up some results.
