    I have two problems with this:
    1) I'd be worried what those genes did that they knocked out. I mean, I don't want to live six times longer and be impotent the whole time.
    2) There are a lot of asshats I don't want to live six times longer. The really scary thing is I'm related to some of them.

    0-127??? Why? The standard guarantees that int is at least 16 bits.

    First of all, 16 and 32 MODES have nothing to do with 16 and 32 bit variables. Secondly, variables smaller than int are ALWAYS promoted to int or unsigned int automatically in expressions. So, assuming int is 32 bit, 16 bits variables are always promoted to 32, regards if all variable involved are 16 bit or not. Besides, as long as the variables are aligned in memory (which the compiler will take care of), there is no penalty.

    "Work for hire" requires a contract stating so. Just because someone is paying you does not automatically make it a "work for hire."

    Actually, it's the other way around. Without a contract stating otherwise, a programmer owns his code. It doesn't matter that someone else is footing the bill. Without a valid contract that states otherwise, an artist always retains copyright over his art. They should have had him sign a "work for hire" contract.

    Not so. Without some contract stipulating "work for hire," the programmer owns the software.

    I don't know how any of what reflects on my comment. You can liken it to whatever you want, but--unlike what the OP wrote--Evolution is not, nor even close to, poof! now there is life. My comment had nothing to do with him comparing Evolution to abiogenesis. Nor does it address "what is life?" Nor do I care too . So, I do not get your point.

    Have you never read a book more than once? I don't think it's a matter of memory. If it was enjoyable, do it again. What, did you just have sex once, and never again because you remember how good it was (and all times you were drunk and don't remember, don't count!)? "No thanks, honey, I still remember when we did it 10 years ago!"

    Cosmology is a science. It is the study of the origins of the universe. It has nothing to do with psychics or any other garbage. I think you are confusing it with astrology.

    Than you completely misunderstand Evolution. Nowhere does The Theory of Evolution say, "viola life!" It has nothing to say about the transition from non-life to life. It talks about life changing and adapting to its environment.

    That depends on the State. Here is NY, there is an "Entertainers Tax" (don't know the real name). All such people who come to NY, much pay taxes to the state (Ballplayers, etc.).

    I do exactly the same thing! I NEVER carry cash on me. My friends, family, and even some merchants think I'm weird, because of it. I think they are weird for still using cash for everything. I have enough money to pay for everything I purchase, but don't like having to worry if I have enough cash in my pocket.
