I have got root on my laptop bag. So this guy I know, thinks he's a big shoot came up to me and said "You must be a dentist". I said no, and he wondered what "got root" ment. I asked him if he knew linux, He said "Yeah coool man I know linux". Then I responded what is root? He said "ummm ummm... "
So got root doesn't get you in trouble... this was on my laptop bag and on a military post for an extended stay.

just my.02$ cents (yes that is two - one hundreths of a cent)
Win NT 4 is more like a mid 80's Ford. Not the first generation product from Ford or Microsoft.
And yes Ford does still support many of thier 80's automobiles
of their customers out in the cold without a patch. Why would you stay with a company that did that to you? They've lost a considerable amount of money already investing in NT4.0 and now it isn't supported and they most likely won't be able to do an upgrade to 2003 server cheaply or even to 2000 server. Since they lost money already I wouldn't use them anymore for fear of not being supported after spending a considerable ammount on upgrades. The best solution is to go with OpenBSD or FreeBSD for their servers.

My plan for Sprint was 3000 minutes for 30$ per month it was a PCS network in texas and my only connection to the real world was my cell phone... there were no phones allowed to be plugged into jacks in teh dorms at Sheppard AFB. So i sat in my room for 6 months with just 3000 minutes with max download speeds of 1.8k/sec if i was lucky !!! I could check my hotmail and read slashdot, but that was about it. Too bad i didn't have this service when i was down there. But at least i got the 150$ disconnect fee waived:-) I moved to an area not serviced by Sprint... back to god old Vermont:-D btw we got 6 inches of snow last night yay!!!!!

btw
My usage always went over 3000 minutes... why i didn't buy more time I don't know... it probably would have saved me
btw again sprint service in Wichita Falls texas is the worst service in the world... the sell almsot 500 phones a week and they still don't put up new towers so you can never get a connection and when you do it gets dropped after 10 minutes
i finally got them to reduce my bill one month by half when i told them what good are curtsey (sp) minutes when i can't even use them... hint hint if they try to give you minutes you won't be able to use when you keep geting disconnected or dropped calls;-)
In vermont Burlington is about teh only area with PCS service... that doens't help for me who lives in St. Johnsbury and its a 2 hour commute (almost 80 miles mostly little towns with spee dlimits of 35mph) so once your out of your service area you start using extra minutes and get charged for every tower you connect to... it gets expensive. Tri mode phones up here are god !!!

it is how fast the connection is from who you are downloading from or in otherwords your fastest download will be the speed of their upload so make sure if you are doing any serving that they don't cap your upload side to save on their bandwidth cost

i HATE ergonmically correct keyboards... i have used a standard keyboard since i was in the 2nd grade and at home and have had only one painfull experience when i let my wrist stay in one position for an extended period of time and t hurt for about 3 days... that was maybe 2 years ago i am 19 now and what do you know i have no problems or anything like that related to a repetive motion syndrom. and i'm on a computer anywhere from 30 mins to 6 hours typing letters... coding... gaming... chatting... email my g/f the usual stuff... all i had to do wa force myself to pay attention to my posture and make sure that i didn't hold my wrist at anything but a flat 180 degrees... maybe it's b/c i also play the piano and some other musical instruments i dunno but an ergonomic keyboard drives me berserk !!!!... just my.02$
