  8. Re:First HTC drops its quad core chip for a dual c on Asus Transformer Drops Quad-core In Favor of Dual-core · · Score: 1

The problem for nVidia is that, the microsecond someone comes out with a similarly-performing platform on a smaller process, the larger process product is obsolete.

Halving the process size equates to a quartering of cost, because 4 times as many elements can be placed in the same area. So, shrinking from 40nm to 28nm about halves the cost for the same performance, and increases battery life, which we all know is everything in the tablet market, for some stupid reason.

Somehow they keep dropping anchors through 5000 feet of water to hit a cable a few inches in diameter laying on the ocean floor.

You might want to check your University's Network AUP and make sure you won't get expelled for wanton evasion of their security policies.

Best bet is probably to get your own cellular modem, or move off campus where you can get your own DSL/Cable/Fiber. It's their network, and you should abide by their rules even if you don't like them.

Look at any social group of young teenage girls today. They're the most vile, wretched, undisciplined, emotionally hostile human beings that walk the face of the Earth today. They think nothing of torturing their peers emotionally to the point of suicide.

Women want their enemies to suffer socially and emotionally.

  17. This is why antibiotics are dangerous on New Avenue For MRSA 'Superbug': Pigs · · Score: 2

It also makes the species weaker because sick and defective animals don't die off, and instead are used to procreate offspring.

It's not even a political issue. It's just common sense.

Family Court judges are pretty much omnipotent beings who do not have to abide by the constraints of the Constitution or any other law of the land. They can impose absolutely arbitrary levies, orders, and judgments depending solely on how many tears the woman before them can cry during a given hearing.

There are no checks or balances in the corrupt system where "for the children" is the rule of the day, and where men have absolutely no rights at all.

Precisely why I'm a fiscally conservative, socially tolerant (not to be confused with kooky fringe conspiracy theorizing survivalist prepper libertarian Ron Paul nutcase) atheist who gets his news from the BBC and other international news outlets. I used to listen to NPR in the 90s, but when Bush was elected, they went off the far left deep end and lost any credibility they may have had for being mostly unbiased (with the exception of Terry Gross, of course).

Fox News is not solely to blame for dumbing down the nation. Television in general caters to the lowest common denominator. It doesn't matter if it's Fox, CNN, MSNBC, or whoever. The whole lot of them are guilty of it. It's all about sensationalist, "oh no you dih-int" entertainment rather than journalism.

Would you want your kid learning from a successful person who has ambition and drive, or someone no more qualified to cop an attitude behind the desk of the DMV than they are to teach?
