"Rights can only be claimed when it's over something you need. We need to live free, we need to not have the government control our thoughts and our speech. We need to be able to move about freely and explore opportunities without unfair discrimination."
WHAT! You may have become comfortable with your freedoms but you contradict yourself with that because you don't need freedom to survive! You dont need free speech to survive. You don't need anything listed in the US Declaration to survive. I agree we like to have them but our lives are very much limited with out them. Just like we are limited if we don't get a free copy of a BS CD or DVD.
Not legaly of course! But by which something can be owned. Owning implies that the matter owned is one. If in fact there is only one then there can be an owner. If such matter is not one then the idea of ownership is defeated.
They don't own shit, except the dollars we put in their hands. And they use that money to sue people who have no clue about the legalities of licensing and ownership. In fact no justification is needed. It isn't theft because the alleged owner has not lost the purported matter.
Legaly, I am certian I am all wrong but murders are often freed on technicalities. So fuck the legal system, fuck the RIAA, fuck the MPAA, and Fuck boycott-protest-or-whatever. Damn right I'm angry! Fuck insurance! Fuck censorship! FUCK!

Basic Rule: Verbs have at least three principal parts: the present form (go); the past form (went); and the past participle (gone). The past participle is always used with a helping verb such as have, has, or had. If the verb is regular, the past form and the past participle form are formed by adding d or ed.
If you want to go work, go work. Experiance is the best teacher. Too many times have I been on job sites with superb craftsmen complaining about engineers who have never been on the job site. "engineers think they know it all from behind the desk" Book smarts is over and under rated. What everyone needs is hands on and the vision of theory.
This is a jab at ciaranm. He's typicaly very outspoken about his positions and as in any typical controversy the looser typicaly resorts to name calling.
The only natural language I know is english. I stink at useing it properly. I remember during grade school our english grammer teacher required us to keep a notebook for a "creative writing" exercise. For half an hour every few days or couple of weeks we were instructed to, just write. I do recall being given a grade on the notebook, I don't recall what the grade was based off of. Again I was never good at english composition, spelling, or creativity as others might see in my writings. However this particular assignment was the only in english/grammar that I was extremly comfortable doing and graded the best in. I I "finished" HS with a D in english, I don't blog. I do however still spill my guts in creative writing sessions for my own relaxation. And find it helpful tward my attempt at becoming better at english. Ca cest bon!
JENNINGS: I've heard some people say that if they were graduating from science or technology today, they'd rather work for Jobs than Microsoft. Why do you think that might be true?
GATES: Well it's certainly not the case. You found a very unusual data point there. In terms of software that's going to change lives and the most interesting software work in the world we're able to attract the smartest people and believe me, that's something that we track very, very carefully. When it comes to having the best software people, that's been the key to our success.
"If I was to manage a farm of 200 different of these I'd easily go crazy."
If you were a real *nix admin you would know that if you had to manage a farm of 200 of these you would find an easier way. For instance when your farm is the same hardware why compile from src for all of them? You simply setup your own rsync use the same make.conf and have a pkg server. Use distcc on all of them and your package server can have a binary pkg built in a hurry.
If everything continues the way its going portage will turn into a network package manager. I can easly see 100 distcc servers createing all my test pkg's and the only real problem I have is keeping up with kernel bugs. I love/proc/config.gz !
SO to all you who think gentoo is nothing more than a glorified fan boy OS, kiss it, because you just don't know how to use the tools.
Its the vermillion river. But there is a bayou tortue, and a bayou carencro. But Lafayette is not known for bayou's because it is the center of the atchafalaya basin. The basin serves as an overflow for the mississippi and red rivers. The basin filled durring the 1927 flood.
Oh go fuck your self. Games CANNOT make people kill other people. People make decisions. I decide to say fuck you, you decide to shoot me, cause and effect. Some freak shoots up their school doesn't mean the video game made them do it. Either they have 'bad parents' or have been pushed to their limits. The limits will vary with age, sanity, and stress. And don't give me the you can't blame the parents bullshit. Rich well educated properly socialized kids tend to turn out with a much clearer reality line than poor kids who's parents don't have the time of day or night.
Todays lesson: It is more likely for poverty to cause someone to murder than it is for video games. Now go pay your taxes bitch.

Of course people aren't spending money to watch movies anymore. The price to waste time watching a stinking movie is more than the minimum wage. So why pay to waste time when you can make money wasteing time, lets say as a ticket ripper.
