Oh but you still can! You just have to pay even more hard earned cash to get the Discovery2 channel! And if/when that becomes popular they will turn it into another 24/7 reality station and make the Discovery3 channel which will require even more money.
Keep in mind you won't be able to get the Discovery3 channel unless you also pay for the Discovery2 channel which you also can't get unless you pay for the Discovery channel.
I think XPrivacy is a tad bit better. One does need Xposed installed on a rooted device. Also be warned when installing this system as if done wrong it can soft brick your device.
But with internet bandwidth, you have have overflow connections that are sitting dark and if needed just light them up and data will be flowing within seconds. This can even be automated. As traffic starts to fall off, turn those connections off.
And that won't really work because an even larger check from the cable companies will always follow. Hell they most likely just give them a credit card with an unlimited balance that draws right from the cable companies bank account.
It's like the Moto 360. It's wireless charging as long as you just set it in it's cradle. No plugging or snapping on adapters. Only problem, other smart watches can last 3+ days between charges. My Gear 2 can easily go 5 days.
I think the thing is, you don't have to fumble around to get your phone out to look at the time. I've often had my hands full yet can still glance at my watch to see what time it is or see who just sent me that SMS message and what of what they said without putting everything down to get my phone out.
For the Gear 2, I don't believe it's talking to the phone all the time when you have fitness trackers running. If it's not connected to the phone then it will cache up the data and transfer it to the phone upon reconnecting. When not connected, you just don't get notifications or calls sent to the watch. I know this is true for the sleep tracker as I have left my phone out of range before. It synced everything when I got within range and reconnected.
Skype is a poor example. It worked on all those platforms before MS bought them out. You really think MS will stop supporting mobile tech? They would lose 97.5% of the mobile user base if they did.
As for Outlook, well again they are forced to support everything. Again they don't want to lose that 97.5% users.
You need to be all over Verizon's ass about this till it's fixed. Contact the BBB and take it public if need be. They obviously are screwing over Netflix users if other streams are fine.
I just have my own domain and create forwards like BestBuy@mydomain.com to forward to my gmail address.
Then create a Gmail filter:
Matches: to:(BestBuy@mydomain.org) Do this: Apply label "Rewards/Best Buy"
If I want I can request Best Buy to stop sending email. If they don't then I can either delete the forward so they get a bounce back or just update the forward to send it to:blackhole:
I can't even recall the last time I got a spam message in my gmail inbox. Haven't had any false positives either.
Most of the spam I get is from some ass-hat that started using my gmail address. The format I use for everything has a period in it. Someone in Indiana started using it without the period. I created a filter to label everything that address as "FUCKER". A good 90% of message in the spam folder have this label.
Virgin Mobile uses the Sprint network. In my area is pure shit because they over sold it. You're lucky if you're able to send or receive a call or text message at peak hours. I jumped ship after a month. Now this was in 2010. I got a buddy that had Sprint and said he soften till has problem but it's not as bad as it use to be.
I'm still on unlimited and plan to be for a while. I use on average 6gigs/month. I've used up to ~25 in a month. Verizon has never contacted me trying to get me to change my plan.
Not to mention programs like Putty, when pinned to the taskbar, you can right click it and see the most recent sessions. You can also pin your most used sessions. This is one of the best things since sliced bread.
Google needs to add an advanced mode to Android that when enabled prompts the users asking if they want to give said app permission to install and active a background service.
Google also needs to re-add the code that allows end users to block or disable a permission in an app. For example, I can disable the Facebook app from access my contacts.
Says my Note 10 2014 isn't supported yet. Like @dbrueck stated, it does work on my Note 2 as well.
BUT, I did get it working on my Note 10 Tablet.
I copied both the Amazon Store apk and the video player apk files from my Note 2 over and side loaded them on to my Note 10 tablet. I loaded up the store and went to the videos and it worked. I didn't buy or rent but the movie trailers play which didn't before. Movie trailer playback was smooth on both devices.
Make sure you're using the NON-TABLET version of the Amazon Store app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amazon.mShop.android)
Also my Note 10 tablet is NOT rooted. Just my Note 2.
The APK files. Amazon Store (non-tablet version): http://goo.gl/EYRZxX (com.amazon.mShop.android-1.apk version 5.0.0 (500000)) Amazon Instant Video Player: http://goo.gl/qvjJCN (com.amazon.avod.thirdpartyclient-1.apk version 1.0 (1))
Just this past summer I went on a family trip. I was a passenger in one car and we had 2 other cars going with us. One was following and the other was coming from another direction. I was often texting the passengers in the other vehicles finding out where they were, if they were stopping for a rest break or to get some food and where.

You get a phone with speaking clock ?
And if you're Helen Keller?

And what if you miss your wrist ?
What if you're blind?

I sleep with mine on because it also tracks movement in my sleep. I find it generally handy.
Also most new CC's have a tap-in-pay build in now.

I would consider the camera, dialer and play store apps as part of the OS.
I've noticed Samsung does this. Their own online store will still check for updates to disabled apps and if one is found, update and enable the app.

I not only do that while riding in a car but also while sitting at my desk at work.
Don't you mean putting make-up on?
