    The reason is simple. The first wave of Harry Potter video buyers are going to be parents driven crazy by their children to get the thing. Middle America usually just goes to Wal-Mart or some store and picks it up. For $20 they get the best babysitter in the world. It's cheaper to make non-cp videos so that makes profit margins go even higher up for the video.

    No parents is going to let their kid keep screaming while they go call people they know and see if they can't make a copy for it. They'll go to the store and get it and quiet the kid.

    Well, as nice as it is to see the paper retract their statments, does the Onion really make that much money? I mean, aside from the ads and paper subscriptions they really don't have a source of capital (Like the classified sections of your other papers)

    The director of the Nevada DMV has denied the application for a custom plate depicting a mushroom-shaped cloud. The plates where apparently 'insensitive' and otherwise politically incorrect. ..

    If I recall correctly, weren't these standard issue liscense plates a while back? They may have been a bit more expensive, but it seemed like every other Nevada plate had them. It's a big part of NV's history.

    There are SOME instances where copyright extension works out. Shouldn't Peter Pan have become public domain? I think it's been long enough. Instead every production of Peter Pan pays royalties to an English Children's hospital. You really can't argue against extending that copyright.

    How old is your printer? I've been a Mac user for ever and besides the first Apple printer, I've had HP printers every time. They all worked very well with the Mac.

    They'd better change all their commercials. Every single broadband commercial I says something to the tune of "Download music all the time, it only takes a second!".

    Now they'll say "Download music during off peak hours and during your alotment of P2P hours. Please check when your p2p service hours run, because we are not responsible for severed files."

    The big danger behind the game is it's usage. Games like this are meant to played a bunch. Why's that a problem?

    Guess what the #1 cause of Carpal Tunnel is.

    It's vibration. So when you have this vibrating combined with the repetitive movements, you can easily get carpal tunnel and tendonitis very quickly.

    But hey, should be fun tho'.

    It's perfectly feasable. Yes, my books had missed out on a play or two I was supposed to read, and it took 6 weeks longer for me to get them, but buying used textbooks really worked out for me. Until I couldn't sell them.

    Hey wait a minute... That didn't work out that well at all. The books' information did, but buying and selling didn't.
