That's because Monsanto only makes one thing;
MONEY.
If it was profitable to feed you rat poison, after fighting litigation, do you think they would do it?
Separation of church and state protects your religious views. You can hold any belief you like, without the state shoving Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, Voodoo, etcetera, down your throat.
There is a difference between teaching *about* something and teaching something.
They should teach about all the kooky beliefs mankind has had throughout the ages, which should pretty much inoculate them from contracting a religion.
It's all just proof to me that religion is a form of insanity, or mental impairment, inability for objective free thought, or rational analysis, or failure and inability to reach logical conclusions.
How far of a leap is it really, from believing, without proof, of a magic being in the sky, to believing that the dismembered body parts of albinos in Africa possess magic powers? Or that suicide bombing will land you in paradise? Or that getting on your knees and begging a supposed omnipotent being for help, would yield results? The same being, mind you, who impotently, or indifferently observed the extermination of 12,000,000,000 humans in the concentration camps of Europe.
I have a feeling if NASA had direct and immediate view and control of the rover they could easily free it from the sand.
They could do this by rocking it back and forth, by shifting from forward to reverse rapidly until it rocked from it's hole.
Sort of like finding the resonant frequency of a stop sign for example, by shaking it.
I'm sure they could find the math to support this, although it would likely be extremely complex, and need to factor in the mass of the vehicle, gravity, weight and depth of the sand, atmospheric density, engagement time of the driven wheels switched from forward to reverse, etc.
Controlling something on planet Mars, from planet Earth, with it's delay of radio waves, among numerous other things is a staggeringly complex and impressive feat.
Because an alcoholic's primary focus, after dancing around with a lampshade on his head, is worrying about what people will think of them on twitter. If they even know what twitter is.
And those companies will spend the next few years trying to build the next "Apple iTablet" killer, while Apple moves on to other innovations.
(I'm not an Apple fanboy by any means, I have iPods and iPhone, but never saw the cost benefit of getting a Mac. I use mostly Linux, and WindowsXP where I have to.
I used to have an oscilloscope, and used to run an overdriven guitar into it, and played it through a stereo system. Though obviously not a perfect square, the shape would be best described as square wave. Clipping an amplifier is distortion, get an MXR distortion+ guitar pedal, run it through an oscilloscope, and observe the square wave. It's built on an overdriven 741 op amp.
Get a synthesizer, and play a square wave, the sound will more closely resemble a distortion guitar than the clear bell like tones of a sine wave, especially in the lower registers.
Lots of music makes use of square waves. Distortion guitar is essentially a square wave. It starts as similar to a sine wave, the guitar amplifier or processor clips it into a square wave.
A square wave is a sine wave with added sine waves of odd harmonics to the fundamental.
"Vinyl absolutely cannot "contain" any loud low frequency stereo signal - at least, nothing that was put there intentionally. The groove would become so shallow the needle would pop out of it and go skidding across the platter."
I call bullshit. That is what the "RIAA curve" is for.
Your cryogenic machine will be unplugged by some of the 78 trillion inhabitants of earth and your body will be used for food. Power shortages will have already rendered your flesh ripe and unpalatable, but you will be consumed regardless.
But worry not, your fortunes would have been confiscated by the corrupt state, and were you to be revived, you would owe a small fortune for the "maintenance" of your rotted corpse, despite the fact that your machine has too been cannibalized for it's parts and scrap.
Had you awoken in the future, you'd have felt you left a virtual paradise, for a poisoned and hellish war zone, your debilitated body and mind only barely aware that the band of rogues that revived you only did so for profit, and are holding you hostage, with yourself as the source of ransom. When it's found you are without value, your decayed body will be allowed to die it's second and final death.

Yeah sure.
Normal corn of any type will not damage your organs.
Unlike Monsanto corn.
The fine should be no more than the fine for shoplifting a cd.

Stock up on beer on Saturday.
Correction; 12,000,000 [12 million] estimated human death toll in the concentration camps.

If the traffic lights are non functional, proceed carefully through any intersections, being alert for traffic and other dangers.
What would the world look like had he spent his money on something else?
Well maybe the world's computers would run on hookers and blow?

Don't power plants dump excess heated water back into rivers? Could this be used to capture some of this large scale energy waste as well?
An i4i, a tooth for a tooth.

...and require carriers to offer service plans without a contract. That would force them to shape up service to retain customers.
I, in turn, promise not throw a chair at Steve Ballmer's head.
All this is a small price to pay for building and occupying settlements on Palestinian land right?
Good luck and enjoy the land.
Sometimes you can find after market refill kits, with which you can inexpensively refill your cartridge.
It's truly sad and disgusting when we have a society based on swindling one another.
Another peeve of mine; Tropicana juice and Haagen Dazs ice cream, once sold in pints (16 oz) are now 14 oz.
