    He could do a combination of series and parallel, and keep the impedance in check.
    2 - 8 ohm speakers in parallel are a 4 ohm load, in series they'd be 16 ohms.

    I remember pool training in the US navy boot camp. They had us simply tread water. I distinctly seeing an African Americans floating much lower in the water than European Americans. At the time I didn't believe he was treading water any less vigorously than the European American counterparts. I recall I could get a good portion of my torso out of the water, while the African American had only his face barely above the surface. I attributed it to higher body density, forgive me if that seems racist, but I believed that to be the case. Have there been any studies of this sort? I imagine not, seems rather pointless, unless it could point to a solution for disproportionate drownings.
    I learned to keep my lungs as full of air as I could to help buoyancy, maybe that was the difference.

    I agree, my first install was debian slink on a laptop, currently I have Ubuntu 9.04, and granted I havent put in much time, but i have NEVER gotten samba figured out enough to make it work.

    Consumers do not like tiered pricing, particularly those who purchase a smart phone for the purpose of fully using all it's fancy data consuming capabilities. The all you can eat plan, in this case, is a big selling point.

    They lose points for that unusable website. Put a pause button on it. And I hate scrolling those tiny windows with my mouse, rather use my arrow keys. I had to fight the website to get any info about their products, but gee it sure looks flashy, must have impressed the sucker who paid for it.

    a classmate showed me a computation on a scientific calculator in about 1983, which caused the calculator to go blank for about 15 seconds before outputting the answer which might have been an error message.
    Does anyone know or remember that one?

    The greatest transportation we now have are crotch rocket motorcycles. Lightweight, powerful brakes, amazing horsepower to weight ratio, highly maneuverable. I've done commutes in a fraction of the time as all other available options, apart from aircraft, and have done them consistently for decades without accident.

    Regrettably, there are foes on the roadway, whose mission it is to steal from you the future you were promised as a child.

    Why can't I just create my own ring tones for free, like I could with my ancient Palm Treo 650.
    I could even use midi files for ring tones alerts, as well as record my dogs barking, or any other sound, for a ring tone or alert.
    There's something to be said against Apple's closed systems, which they use to repeatedly wring their customers for as much cash as they can.
    Can't say for sure if I'll buy another iPhone.
