  1. Re:Tried Ubuntu, didn't work for me. on Ubuntu Linux for Non-Geeks · · Score: 1

If this is a memory issue, It can be useful to know that Ubuntu takes advantage of any swap-partitions it finds on the harddrive. I had to install Ubuntu on ann old pc, and even the live CD( not the Live DVD) didn't boot. I created a swap partition on the disk and it worked like a charm.

You're right. This car is intended for personal, every-day use ,running on batteries in traffic jams and on gas during cruising. I guess the electric motor could be used as a "booster" when you overtake another vehicle. (I do not work for Toyota...)

I don't see how this can be more dangerous than building your own airplane. There seem to be a lot of things that can lead to a disaster in an airplane. If you have a well-tested system on the submarine, that would enable you to float to the surface, you are reasonable safe. You don't have to worry about stall speed, instability recovery from spin, landing behaviour, etc.

The man in charge of the procedure says to his assistant: "Ok, that's it. The copy in the computer is valid. Destroy that old one..." and points at you.
Imagine what that would feel like!
