I have to disagree. Just because our parents and grandparents decided to borrow a lot of money in our name does not mean we should have to pay it back. Just because they decided to not worry about retirement by assuming we would pay for it does not make us responsible. Let them suffer the consequences. yes, I know there is a social contract, but they broke it, not us. It was obvious to me 15 years ago (when I was 25) that I would never get SS, why didn't they figure it out?

What I am referring to is that while monogamous relationships between one man and one woman have probably been the most common model historically speaking, multiple wives is a very common historical model. Is Bush going to support this?

Bush provided me with summarized answers for those who do not like to read (for some reason he was very sympathetic):

    1) Should we have the death penalty for perps under age 18.

If I talk a lot, you might not notice I did not answer the questions.

    2) What are you doing to ensure young people today will get social

    security?

You should pay for your retirement, your Grandparents retirement and

your parents retirement. No one should help pay for yours.

    3) What are you doing to improve our reputation around the world?

If I talk a lot, you might not notice I did not answer the questions.

    4) Do you support a draft?

    No.

    5) Election reform.

If I talk a lot, you might not notice I did not answer the questions.

    6) Do you support preventing college finacial aid for people with drug

    convictions?

    No.

    7) What will you do to solve the energy crisis?

    Supports tax subsidies to farmers.

    8) Sex education.

    Just say no.

    9) Civil rights for gays.

I hate gay people. They are living in sin.

    10) Health Insurance.

You need to read my full-length answer.

    11) Is it ok to change your opinion?

No ... I mean yes ... I mean, I do not want to think about this.

    12) Tolerance of others.

I love (agape) everyone as long as you are a heterosexual Christian.

with a mechnical cruise control. I worked with Ford investigating "run-awy" vehicles in the early 80's. Turns out there was a real problem. There was an aluminum linkage that rubbed against a guide such that it could eventually wear a notch in the linkage. The notch could get large enoguh to eventually catch on the guide, and the cruise control was stuck. No way to turn it off other than shut down the engine. However, the notch would form at the location corresponding to your mostly commonly driven speed, so say here in Houston you would get the cruise typically stuck at about 90 mph.

IAASE - This may be an esoteric point, but stuctural engineers design bridges. Civil engineers design roads, sewers, tunnels, water distributions systems, etc. And for the love of all that is holy, never call us architects. And yes, bridges (and buildings) rarely fall down because we are really, really good at what we do. Also, they are not cheap, but rather very, very expensive. Which is partially why we do not allow the to fall down. Also, people tend to die when structures fail (Google Kansas City Hyatt Walkway Collapse). This is probably the most important factor. Think of it this way, if the user died every time OS crashed, do you think OS's would crash very often? But again, most importantly, it is becuase we are very, very good at what we do :-). That's why we make the big bucks!
