This is southern Ireland (Eire) the IRA became the Irish National Army in 1922, and don't have anything to do with the IRA in Northern Ireland
While that is true, the implication I take from your words is that the current (real/provo) IRA is not linked to Eire.
It most certainly is, for example Liam and Michael Campbell. The first successfully sued by the relatives of the Omagh victims for the 1998 bomb attack and the latter accused in court this week of having paid 10,000 (£8,600) to arm the Real IRA with guns and explosives from Lithuania http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/aug/18/arms-real-ira-lithuania-sting
(or I did before one enterprising tow truck driver or another helped their self to my CD wallet - this has happened to me at least 6-7 times in my life, so I've lost upwards of 500+ CDs just to tow truck drivers).
Really?
You must have owned lots of really crappy cars and been really unlucky with the tow truck drivers that attended!
the major labels' employees are seemingly are the ONLY people in the music industry against file sharing
Honest question: who are the people in the music industry for file sharing then? Surely there aren't that many who aren't in the employ of the major labels?
it was mostly about database that should store them and information there
The same information will still be held when anyone applies for or renews a passport, so in 10 years (passport validity term) they will have the full database anyway.
They are suggesting that those under 25 get one as proof of age for buying alcohol/tobacco (as the current trend is that ID is required under that age, minimum age for both is now 18), plus anyone working in secure areas like airports.
I'll admit that not having a liver is a more immediate problem than not having an immune system, but both should be terminal conditions shouldn't they?
You know as well as I do that Palin's gonna start her 2012 bid tomorrow
Speaking on behalf of the rest of the world (and yes, I have check with them), please, please, don't ever let this woman anywhere near the driving seat.
Top Gear did a feature a couple of years back with real r/c cars. Three of them in a quarry. James May and Richard Hammond vs. a 14 year old girl who was the national junior r/c car racing champion (or something similar).
BTW, I love how the moderators mod according to their political viewpoints, which is an obvious abuse of power. That's why politics don't belong here.

Serious news fatigue I guess. After weeks of relentless doom and gloom (and coverage of the US election), something silly seems to appeal to the press.
Any reason why they'd do that? Nothing illegal about having books, and you can drink beer at home when you're 8 in the UK. I think it's 4, for wine only.
But it's still illegal to buy that wine or beer for consumption by someone under 18...
"Let's talk about religion or politics. How is the government doing?" "I'm a protestant." Oh, really? Which denomination? "I was raised as a Protestant." Then, "Judge This very minute, I am a protestant; Go ahead?"
On the other half of the screen, a faceless music fan ("I like a lot of Radiohead, Stereophonics, Led Zep etc") admitted he or she hadn't watched either the England match or X Factor last night ("Haha, Top Gear's more my style"). It was pretty clear which one was a real person. And which one the computer.
The event's credibility was hardly aided by the insistence of Hugh Loebner, the prize's American sponsor, that he had no interest in the result and had only set up the competition 18 years ago to promote his firm's roll-up plastic lighted portable disco dance floors.
Because more people use wireless - the new Apple cordless mouse and keyboard are Bluetooth.
If you have to use a USB mouse + keyboard + hard disk + pen drive you're obviously at home so just buy a USB hub. Extra bonus - only one thing to plug in each time.

You've seen The Dark Knight then.

No need to actually try it, they already have an opinion.
Real world is that businesses use Windows, for good or bad.
If you have an IT career you pretty much have to use Windows. If you're a professional coder 98% chance that you'll be using Microsoft development tools and some of them are pretty good.

The voluntary card will cost you £30.
Well, you can, but that would be like having a Core2Duo for just reading emails...
In the end, yes.

She did a pretty good job.
I keep telling myself that. Generally it works, but sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I know the truth.

Not in the UK. The biggest story here right now isn't the US election, the wars or the economy.
It's that a couple of radio presenters left a rude message on Manuel's answering machine! http://www.guardian.co.uk/media

We're taking this approach as of 2009 in the UK.
The new seasons will be "Cold and Wet", "Wet and Windy", "Wet" and "Wet and Dark".
Doesn't really matter how they map to the current seasons.
Fixed that for you Cobber.

Come on people, why is this racist crap not modded down?
And which asshat modded it insightful? This is not a white supremacist web site... is it?
Here's a clue: Troll, Flamebait, Off-Topic... they all work.

Surely that would be a "Probe"!
Oh, "Parsons", sorry, forget I said anything. ;-)
I took that as deliberate, to make you think "ah, it's made a mistake, this must be a human".
Not that it works, it's still blindingly obvious which one is the human from the examples in TFA.
There was the Jeep that Klinger stole bit by bit in MASH.
Will that do?
