I propose fines for people who fund, operate, post on, frequent, or utilize web sites or services that are knowingly or unkowingly hosted on servers that suffer the/. effect!
Besides the point is that ISN't MSCE, it is MCSE!
The author thinks that the acronymn stands for MicroSoft Certified Engineer... but it is Microsoft(one word) Certified Systems Engineer. So before you start blaming a company for stealing an acronymn, get your facts straight and make sure the 'stolen' acronymn actually matches the acronymn used.
So put Masters in Computer Engineering on your resume instead of the acronymn and stfu. It's not my fault Microsoft is evil, go fight your battle with them.
independent films are being pushed out of the box office by blockbusters.
The sad thing is that many of the so called 'blockbusters' are just as bad as the 'top 10' records. Overrated, overhyped drivel.
Gigli for instance.
*spits in disgust*
"Another executive noted that larger retailers like Wal-Mart Stores Inc, Best Buy and Circuit City already sell CDs at around $13 anyway to get people into the stores to buy bigger ticket items."
If I could find a $13 CD that I wanted to buy I would be amazed. I don't listen to top 40 rubbish and over produce drivel so what good does that do me?
This is just sad, SCO is going to take it up the ass so fucking hard with this one. Specifically, with my transparent black tux dildo. Then, I'm going to sue them for having Linux property up their ass and proposing a licensing fee until I take it out.
Whose with me?
So they copied a 'comment' then? Which is naturally intellectual property since the 'idea' of expressing English has been patented by SCO.:P
I want to see ALL of the code they say is stolen
As far as i know, its not theft to aqcuire/posses some one elses trash. If you go into a dumpster though it can be considered trespassing. In that regard anything aquired while tresspassing in a dumpster could be construed as theft. Thats where the difference is....
Regardless, it shouldn't have anything to do with the DMCA.
I've been using electronic paper for years. I just attach clips from an electrical socket to a sheet of tin foil...voila! Although I've saved on the cost of printer paper, my medical bill has skyrocketed...can't figure out why though.
but with the 'experience' that GW wants customers to have
That is completely ridiculuous! Anyone who has ever used/tried to use the Games Workshop Online Store knows that it is a horrible and unreliable endevour. Perhaps if Games Workshop fixed up their own online store, they wouldn't hear grumbling about how bad an experience purchasing GW merchandise online is.
I can see their point as far as companies using their pictures for marketing, but an over the top action like this will only hurt them in the long run. Should they really care if pictures are being ripped off to promote the legitimate sale of their products? Doesn't make much sense to me!
They'll probably forget to load the right codecs so the first people viewing it will enjoy crisp 7.1 digital sound all in time with one of the wmp visualisations
Ironically you'd probably lose to prior art on this.

bungie.net which is no defunct (after M$ shut it down).
Actually, bungie.net is still being regularily updated and is not defunct! Also, bungie.com which is the site for the company itself is still alive and well. Microsoft did buy them, but they haven't been shut down. The whole point of MS buying all the game studio companies that it did was to let them function basically the same as usual but under MS control. Which means that the comapnies have access to more money, better testing labs, etc. but xbox gets first dibs on the games and the rest are released under the MS brand name. In actuality it has been very beneficial for the companies.
The internet will be deemed evil because it can be used as a method to fund terrorism. Shortly after this declaration, all forms of internet will be outlawed in the 'free world'. Slashdotters, who will all of a sudden have no where to socialize, will wander the streets, spouting "In Internet North America, we used to say 'In Soviet Russia..'" In turn, they too will be banished...to greenland... and the U.S. will force greenland to change is name to terroristland.
Line6 isn't the only one who does this. Roland/Boss has had amp/cab modelling features on their effects processors for years. Behringer and Digitech to name a couple more also have products with this feature.
I assume that AOL will use the same marketing strategy for this, as in the past. Television ads will indirectly portray this service as the ONLY or EASIEST means to aqcuire music online. Adding another reason for me to get angry everytime I see the damn commercials.
It amazes me how many people I meet who are baffled by the fact that AOL Instant Messanger isn't the ONLY messaging program around. Although the wide spread news coverage of online music services, best example being Napster, has probably opened many eyes, I'm sure that there will still be AOL hermits who think they've got the best thing that computers have to offer.
very sad
Looks like Star Wars technology ideas are finally getting closer to reality. The infamous Imperial TIE Fighters in the original trilogy had solar plating on their wings which were used to power the Twin Ion Engines (hence the name TIE). I find this very exciting indeed.
It is excellent to see that a 'big' contender in the prefab PC market is adopting this stand point. Although they're not the first to do it, I think that this move will encourage other companies to follow suit. And needless to say it is about time. Good stuff Dell!
Maybe most of the potential consumers realized that all the time spent adjusting the lives of "Sims" could be spent on bettering themselves and producing tangeable results. Then "Sims Online" comes along and they further realized that they don't need an internet connection to show their personal improvements to others.
"Wow, there are people outside! Oh, wait you joking right?"

MSCE???? It'S MCSE: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
To pay off the $150k per song debt she'll owe the RIAA.

The world is calling huh?
#include
int main()
{
std::cout "Hello, world!\n";
}
It's not saying anything back.
It figures that everything is still in wood grain... blek.... why not aluminum with glass or something
I suppose a wood hotel room is better than wood in a car though... (wtf are people thinking putting wood paneling in vehicles)

Based off of Gates' statement am I to understand that Bill has never used a Microsoft product?
