    my comment stands. the damage you would have caused is not 1 cent. it would be one cent plus whatever monetary sum a jury would award for breaking and entering and the trauma caused. i'm sure i am forgetting more laws that you would have broken.

    even without taking this into account, i would still get my seven billion back. and then some

    i don't think fines should be based on the company's revenue. Fines should be based on the damage caused. WIth your theory they should have been fined millions if not billions if they did something against 1 user or 1 billion all the same.

    they were really drones, there's even a video. the group that claimed responsibility said the drones were shot down by snipers. the government instead claims they used scramblers to make the drones self detonate and crash far from their objetive (!)

    OPT was designed so the student earns on the job skills on US soil after graduation. It's more like an internship. Companies can benefit in the sense that if they like the student's work after a year, THEN they can try to get the student worker a H1B.

    I'm personally affected by this as i will be trying for it once i finish with my studies.

    i use firefox along the about:config option to disable autoplay. It usually meant broken sites in the past, but now it seems to be working fine

    you can implement an existing idea, perhaps perfecting it and get all the credit. tell that to the guy that effectively got the mcdonald guys to actually shut down their burger restaurant

  19. most likely you can't afford the ferrari, so honestly you can't compare both. unless you had the money and your (flawed) value system made you compare both cars, this isn't a fair comparison

  20. if intel can't secure an end user app, which should be fairly easy, can we trust them to secure their processors, a much, much harder task?

  21. the nexus 5 was the same (mine fried). at least with the 5x LG replaced mine and it wasn't on warranty anymore. also, got a 32GB board instead of the 16GB i had.

  22. the iphone X is on a different category and no device competes directly with it. until samsung releases the note X or something, the S series competes with the iphone #, while the Note series competes with the iphone # plus.

    That's really an ignorant way of justifying it. 99% of the websites i visit have a banner somewhere saying "this website is using cookies". Cookies aren't going away anytime soon. While some marketers/spammers may use more advanced techniques, most will remain using cookies for the foreseeable future.
