  1. Re:there should be legislation on Schools Buy .xxx Domains In Trademark Panic · · Score: 1

So if Wal-mart gets automatic ownerships of Walmart.x in every TLD x, why do we have more than one TLD?

Unless Domain.com is going to resolve to something different than Domain.org or Domain.biz, they provide no value to anyone except the people selling domain names.

Well sure, buying a company for its smartphone and then never actually releasing a phone with those assets is an expensive foray with little payout. Maybe if they'd actually put out a product before the Pre enthusiasts drifted off to other platforms, they'd have done better. I was very disappointed when I had to give up my Pre because I realized the Pre 3 was nowhere on the horizon.

    No. Whom is correct.

Whom do you want to ask about 2012 elections?

    The object is whom

about 2012 elections is a supporting prepositional phrase

Who is always a subject, Whom is always an object (except here, when you're talking about the word itself)

That's terrible. Certainly Rihanna makes enough money that she doesn't have to illegally download songs. And does she really have to go to New Zealand to do it? Seems she's spend more in airfare. She's just pirating music to hurt her fellow musicians.

But they're in that group because they can't afford to pay income taxes. If you want to shrink the group, we need to either help them earn more money, or decrease costs of living so we can lower the threshold for paying income taxes.
