Ah yes, that's why my office has plastic sheeting down everywhere..
Motion sickness happens in 3 cases.
1. You get motion sick playing FPS games on a normal monitor.. VR isn't for you 2. Crappy refresh rate on the VR screen, or high latency between physical and VR movement, both Occulus and Vive have pretty much fixed that. 3. Loss of tracking.. DK1 didn't have it, DK2 does, Vive does, but that's because they have things to occlude.
Huge databases full of personal info are gigantic targets, and properly securing them is very very difficult (and what's worse, uneconomical, since most of them are owned by publicly traded companies)..
Pandora's box is open now, but don't say the tinfoiled warriors didn't warn you..
Have you ever noticed there is a theme that runs through these sort of things? It's always some simple substance, that we're obviously not getting enough of, and it's "the cure".
None of the papers he presented were studies, they were just OBSERVATIONS. There was nothing scientific behind it, and there remains nothing scientific behind it, which is why, not surprisingly, the scientific community wasn't interested.
Cathcart was an orthopedic surgeon, who the fuck cares about what he thinks about immunology?
Governor Huey released GM mosquitoes which were allergic to human blood, which meant after a generation or two, they had adapted to biting everything but humans..
It's actually pretty hard to overhydrate unless you are slamming down a couple of liters an hour, if you eat a balanced diet, you're not going to be peeing out much in the way of minerals, your body does a pretty good job of keeping them in balance.
First off, my point was that ad hominem is not a particularly good way of discrediting what a person says. Being anonymous does not make the poster I replied to more or less trustworthy, and the fact that McAfee has been accused of murder does not mean he cannot be trusted on this sort of matter.
Second, I think you're correct, trust is not established by your name, but by whether what you say has value and is verifiable.
In fact, human slavery and drugs are exactly the same thing, silly OP for not realizing that transporting small amounts of naturally occurring mostly inert substances is exactly the same as transporting human cargo for slavery, in fact I just saw some guy at the airport get stopped with three human slaves stuffed up his ass in a condom.
I'm surrounded by VR stuff, and though the DK1s were kinda low rez, I find it hard to believe the DK2 or the new WXQGA AMOLED screens on the next gen are still too low rez?
The cost? You mean that every time a local community decides to foot the cost themselves, Comcast and co go get laws passed at the state level to stop the community from being able to build the network, because obviously they're just interested in the local community not overspending : /

Nice troll man.
Thalidomide had much worse malformations than just being undersized..
The US did cause the Iranian problem.. the rest of them are much less cut and dried.
So which of those do you object to? Varicella maybe?

Bullshit.

Here's a little bit of love for your deflated balls joke, I'm surprised only you made one..

I'm sitting here in london with a DK1 and a DK2 on the desk next to me, and no policemen have showed up yet..
Hoisted... nooooooo
Heisted by them you have been..
If you use facebook to get your news, you deserve all the consequences you get, unintended or not.

That's assuming that you've only got one cause trying to kill you. When in fact, there are many competing causes.
Does being random mean I have to go around saying things like monkey cheese? I'll cop to the asshole bit though,
I ain't mad, any contribution to improved discourse is a positive :)

TLDR; you dumb.

Dizziness is due to your eyes saying to your brain "hey I'm moving", while your inner ear says "no we are not"...
Are you basing your opinion on the DK1 or the DK2?
There are some impressive things in the works.
