    We have a relatively new phrase in the UK that fits the majority of situations: Do one.

    It's very polite and assertive.

    What happens in the US when you break pissy little contracts like this one? Not the worse case; what happens normally?

    I'd expect some letters, some more letters, a threat of court action, then nothing.

    Have you read an early story on BBC News? Full of spelling mistakes, wrong names and poor grammar. The sports stories are the worse.

    Find one, refresh every 30 seconds and watch the incompetence. I've saw half a dozen edits in five minutes after the footy games last night.

    You are correct. There is even a sliding payment scale for the small claims court.

    But recently there is a step before the small claims court. A simple arbitration is performed and both sides are told the the probable outcome. This obviously cuts down on wasting the courts' time.

    I've been offered the pills, so I know they are sold. A tidy profit would be made too. If you were buying them from the pharmacy, which they are not because they on benefits, you can tripple your money.

    Can you, as an astute user, claim that you've never hit OK to a dialog by mistake? Maybe you were expecting one dialog, but received another.

    I got my invite last week and was surprised at the lack of supporting websites. The three automatically added contacts aren't interested in playing, so it's been a no-go for me so far.

    I have a ton of invites (sixteen) if anyone wants one. Those who understand spamgourmet should have no problem emailing me.

    I used to love writing JS server side (ASP + IIS). I only stopped because of the lack of examples and documentation on the net. VBS became the norm - yuk.

    I feel like a parrot because I post this so often:

    If you live in the UK don't buy CFLs. Phone your energy supplier and ask them how you can save electric. Mention you like the look of CFLs. They will send you a box for nothing. They will also send you one of these new-fangled LCD energy meters, if you ask. They just sent me enough roof insulation to cover the whole roof space, 270mm thick, for sixteen quid.

    They have to do this. It is the law. A certain amount of profit has to be given away for energy saving measures. Everyone qualifies, not just new customers.

    Yes, I work in the industry.

    Nice post.

    My sister-in-law suffers from Aspergers. When she's out on the loose, she likes nothing better than to set fire to public buildings while on the phone to the police. After being deliberately caught, she shows a ton of remorse and but can't understand why she did it. She knows it leads to secure accomodation but does it anyway.

    It's a sickening illness.

    a.b.* hasn't worked on VM for a long, long time. They did crack down. They also removed the top 20 groups within months of taking over NTL. It was always on the cards.
