I had one of those remote watches when they first came out. Great for 5 minutes play.
The best part about them was their ability to 'jam' other people's remotes. I think I costed my mates a set of 'worn out' remote batteries each time I visited.
I don't know if that was a serious question but I'm going to answer it anyway. Using regex for card numbers is childs play. Baby-play for the likes of Google.

God I hate working here. One IT person for every 10 proper workers - that can't be right.:p
You cannot place windmills near office or residential buildings. The shadow created by the rotating blades makes people sick.
I work for a power generator. We wanted to place a windmill on our site but couldn't. One reason was the shadow, the other was lack of wind on the hill where we're based.
Typical Team17. I bet they blamed the removal of online play on publishers again.
We told them time and time again that online play, with chat, was the best part of the game. Did they listen?
Now which game was it where you could only play against 'friends'? Great idea that was Team17.
I bought the XBOX360 version to show my support. We just need a version based on the W2/WA engine now. I'd pay real money Martin 'Spadge' Brown. I know you read Slashdot.
We have (b) in the UK. Have done for years. Many police cars have (b), the vast majority of petrol stations have (b) and all average speed cameras have (b).
MMS is a must. And no, it's still quite expensive in the UK.
It's not just for sending photos. My wife is forever sending me videos (no giggling at the back), it's like voice mail for her. In fact I wish more people would send vioce mail like this. I get charged for hearing my messages so I turn it off most of the time. I sometimes send contacts (*.vcf) over MMS, ringtones too.
I'm your typical below average photographer. Family pictures and the garden. You know the sort.
I'd advise the same people who buy $1000 cameras to buy a book on photography or a 2 hour lesson on the basics. I've seen people carrying and using big-money cameras; I've seen them position people in front of windows with the sun pouring in and witnessed the black siloette pictures they produce. It seems such a waste.
Last year, I took a picture of my garden for an internet friend who owns one of these expensive cameras. He told me it was a clear picuture with nice colours. I told him it was taken on a 1.3mp that cost me £70 five years ago. I'd just knelt down in the right postion, nothing more.
My daughter also produces nice pictures after I bought her a small tripod. Getting rid of the shakey hand problem would help the majority of people too.
One of the messages touted around in England is that knife crime breeds knife crime. The children are carrying knives to protect themselves against other knife-wielding children. If you carry a knife, there's more chance of you using it.
I agree with that a little.
I carried a knife as a child. A good boy scout always had a sharp penknife. The only person I ever cut was myself.
WOW. I thought I was unique. I too have a user that uses the File|Open dialog box in MS Word for all her file management. Can't be the same person, can it?
Did she also say stuff like "I pressed save yesterday and now I can't find my work. Where did I save it?"
When was the last time you tried to photocopy (Xerox) a $20 bill?:)
Even my cheap £40 scanner will not scan money. I thought it was clever when it automatically diplayed an anti-counterfeiting website after I tried. Any angle, even folded in half would display the page. Storing images of all paper money is probably why the drivers were so big...
When I bought my 360 the sales lady said "my son is on his third" and I said "Oh, I wont bother then" and started to turn around. She soon changed her tune.
"It's to expensive" always throws them too. Even if they drop the price, that line is repeatable.
Never buy extended warranties. They are moot in the UK anyway because of the sale of goods act.
It's also illegal to put the price up before a sale. The item must be on sale for 30 days at the higher price before they discount.
There's a client that fakes the referer header to something like "Apple iPhone". This allows you to download the vast majority of iPlayer content. I've only had use for it once and I forget the name. I think files downloaded were in MP4. Whichever format it was, I was able to transcode with no problems.
Their website talked of a cat and mouse game with bytes being swapped by the BBC. The software author seemed to enjoy the game and is winning.
Equivalent? We actually have Walmarts in all their American glory. They are currently called Asda Walmart as they bought Asda some years back but I expect that'll disappear as the years go on.
I drive past there regularly. You hear all sorts of stories about mobiles (cell phones) not working as you drive past, new house torn down because residents could view PC monitors through their windows, and general stories about stuff going bump in the night.

They don't. We don't.
But I often see adverts for "Meet hot chicks in [my_home_town]" - I wouldn't want my daughter to click those.

Please adjust your reality.
WOW. I take it you a serious about those missing features? The SMS stuff has been standard on all phones for years.

Rubbish. Some of us like to feel our music as well as hear it.
His CV, on his wesite, has a glaring error. The buck doesn't stop with him.

Can't wait to see that on a t-shirt.
So type "Server 500: Internal Error" in the bar > hover over one of the results > hold the delete key until they are all gone.
Bookmark slashdot as normal and it will move higher up the list.
And it'd not a search box - behave yourself - use the search box for searching (CTRL+K).
You leave your browser open while playing games? Doesn't that eat up memory and cause slowdown?
Yes. No.

Hate Phorm but I hate FUD just as much.
Phorm have said, in one of their published interviews, they will not serve porn, poker, or any other 'bad' ads.

I too would like to point out that FFmpeg is what makes some open source multimedia apps (like MPlayer, Xine, VLC and Kdenlive) so versatile.
"Can I have yours first?" is the answer I give. But they don't ask for phone numbers in the UK, only postcodes and house numbers.
None have ever given up their postcode. If and when they do, I'm going to repeat it back.
When I bought my 360 the sales lady said "my son is on his third" and I said "Oh, I wont bother then" and started to turn around. She soon changed her tune.

Happy searching

All absolute bollocks.
