And not really that popular here.

Then you've got the problem with it making it larger and bulkier.. Not to metion then you'd have the iPod, iPod photo, iPod mini, iPod shuffle, then you'd have the iPod satilite.

The best route to go would be a sirius add-on.

This would make them have to creat another line of satilite iPods, and while diversity can be good, too much can be a bad thing. I would count out a Sirius add-on though.

They probably don't want to make a whole new line of satilite iPods, thus diluting the product lines.

Is there anything that safari does better than firefox?

Safari fits in better. Firefox sticks out like a sore thumb. It doesn't integrate with thing like the system wide spell checker for text boxes. It's just a bunch of little things that end up making it feel very out of place. Firefox 1.1 is supposed to fix some o the integration problems, and 2.0 should feel pretty native.

Now if we had some sort of open source 3D drivers to take advantage of this . Sure we have ATI and Nvidia binary drivers, but the uncertanties in the licensing pretty much keeps them from getting bundled in most distributions.

Oh well, at least it's a start to get some OS X-like eye candy.
