On C-SPAN, C-SPAN2, and C-SPAN3, you can get all the U.S. government coverage you can stand. During the evening hours, they show the racier stuff like Canadian Parliament and the ever-popular U.K. "Prime Minister's Question Time."
You can watch them live over the web and they even have Podcasts! How cool is that!
That's nice. I'm still boycotting so-called "news".com.com.com after the uncalled-for article in which they posted personal information about Google's co-founders.
Furthermore, "news".com.com.com posts favorable "reviews" of its advertisers and slights those who do not purchase enormous ads on its web site. I'll stick with ObjectiveNeutral news, thank you very much.
Shame on you, Time Warner, for not respecting responsible copyright durations. Honestly, most of the developers of these so-called "classic" games are retired or dead -- what rights do they have to keep profiting off of games so old that they would better serve as the basis of a movie?
As a proud Linux user, I intend to continue downloading my ROM files from secure overseas web sites located in countries which respect the copyrighted-material enjoyer, not the copyright hoarder. Shame, shame, shame on you, Time Warner.
No need. The real Seth Finkelstein got Michael Sims fired earlier this year. Now all you have to fear is the ignorance of Slashdot "editor" Zonk, who quite frankly is too stupid to be evil.
"Twenty-eight former L-M executives are members of the Bush administration. Lynne Cheney, the wife of the Vice President, is a former member of L-M's Board. "Lockheed Martin is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, but because it has facilities in all 50 states, it has a "big political footprint." L-M curries favor by contributing to political campaigns at every level. It gave more than $2.2 million in political donations in 2002. Though weapons-industry PACs like L-M favor Republicans to Democrats by a 2 to 1 margin in contributions, they give to both in order to ensure access and influence." (Emphasis mine)
Skype is not built on open standards like SIP and remains isolated to its own so-called "Peer to Peer" network. It is to the Gizmo Project as AIM is to Jabber.
I don't think any of you know this, but this is the same Deskstar line that IBM sold to try and save face. I personally lost seven hard drives due to the poor manufacturing quality. Those hard drives contained data that was invaluable to me.
I strongly urge all of Slashdot to boycott Hitachi and its so-called "DeathStar" drives.
You clearly don't understand how the blogosphere works. The only way to succeed is to link to people who link to people who link to people who link to people who link to people who link to articles.
Now that your government is obsessed with "protecting you from the terrorists," who "hate freedom," expect unnecessarily harsh penalties for innocent Fair Use duplication. Recent reports from highly-trafficked blogues suggest a maximum penalty of £50,000 and two years imprisonment. This is unacceptable. Ring or telerofax your MP at once!
Who would pay as much for a "Universal" Media Disc as they would for a DVD? DVDs are definitely consumer-hostile, but at least they'll play on my Linux boxen. UMDs are specific to a single platform, cannot be ripped for fair use, and cannot be Fairly Used on-line!
Frankly, I am still going to recommend that you boycott UMD. Please use more open formats such as XviD to retrieve your motion pictures.
The problem is that "utterly clueless people" also buy more PCs than intelligent netizens like you and me.
I swear, if some Windowsz-using louser calls me because his emachines Peach-see is having problems with his "Microsoft 97," I swear he will encounter the wrath of Seth.
I swear, if I meet anyone who plays this so-called "game," which is just a marketing tool for Disney, I will punch them right in their Tommy Hilfiger-wearing, BMW-driving, Windows-using, non-Ogg-Vorbis-listening faces.
This is inexcusable. I didn't get into computers to help Joe Sixpack install this shit onto his goddamn emachines piece of crap "PC."
That's what you get when Microsoft runs the show.

I'm sorry to say it, but this is the reason why I won't use closed-source games. You simply cannot trust Microsoft to keep things fair; after all this is a convicted monopolist who is charged with keeping a playing field level.
Frankly, I have no reason but to continue my boycott of the Xbox. All good Netizens are entreated to do the same.
So this IGN TV channel will be a bunch of loudmouthed idiots babbling about games about which they know nothing. The shows will be regularly infiltrated with paid placements of all kinds, and the host will be drowned out by the sound of an advertisement superimposed over his visage.
In other words, it's going to be exactly like any other cable channel.
GameTap uses a simple time check on the client side. If the system time is greater than a value transmitted by the GameTap server, GameTap disables the game.
Fortunately, I've already written a proxy server that dynamically rewrites all incoming GameTap packets, setting the expiry date to a point five years in the future.
Look, Richard. You can already do this using GMail's POP access. Just go to GMail, click the "POP Access presented by Morgan Stanley" icon, and you're good to go.
GMail's POP access is presented by Morgan Stanley. If you need your investments as secure as your e-mail, call Morgan Stanley now.
So now instead of derelicts roving the streets, we get selfish geeks BitTorrenting Family Guy episodes on their PowerBooks running Unbunty Lunix and never buying anything unless GNU/Stallman told them to do so because goddammit you hippies get the fuck off my internet
Look, assmaster. Google Maps is a beta service provided free of charge. You should be proud that Google has decided to grant you access to their world of technology.
If you have any complaints, suggestions, or bug reports, please be assured that they will be addressed before Google Maps is out of beta.

Furthermore, eBay has a history of poor human rights concerns and owns PayPal, probably the worst on-line payment site ever created.
I predict more consumer-hostile behavior from eBay and will continue to boycott all of its products.

OK, you built it on Linux. Now let's see your source code.
TiVo delivered. Unless I see some code from Sonos, I can only label them as open source leeches and will recommend a thorough boycott.

Rescind that statement at once or face prosecution for slander. You have no idea who you've just offended.
The headline should be "Dell: We'd Sell Mac OS X."
See, that colon indicates someone (in this case Michael Dell) is speaking. If you employed editors, they would know this.
No photo connector. Less space than an iPod Mini. Lame.
Sincerely,
CmdrTaco
- Exceptional hardware quality. Apple machines never fail on me. My child's Dell has required repair eight times.
- Exceptional support. Apple supports both hardware and software for three years.
- Exceptional community. There are fewer programs for Mac OS X, but those that do exist are gold. Mac users simply demand more.
- Exceptional security. Apple products have never been hacked and any so-called "vulnerabilities" are patched before they reach epidemic proportions.
In conclusion, my next computer will be an Intel Macintosh. The problem is that "utterly clueless people" also buy more PCs than intelligent netizens like you and me.
