I would hate to live in your town. As a smoker, banning the sale of smoking would be frustraiting but would not stop me smoking. I would make weekly trips to the next town over and stock up.

I actually got a $20 check from AllAdvantage once. I used to send out spam ICQ messages to people to signup so i could get refferal points too. Man, that was back when NetZero was free.
"Please turn off cell phones" appears on the screen at my local theater and it seems to work great. Personally, I have never been disturbed by someone on a cell. I get disturbed by idiots who 1)talk during the movie, 2) kick the back of my seat, 3) leave or enter during the movie 4) eat candy with a crinkly paper, 5) have bad B0 6) my ass hurting from sitting for a 3 hour movie
When I was a director of an I.T. I had two meetings I had to attend per month. One was a weekly meet with my unit for status updates, the other the weekly senior staff meeting. Then once a month I had the technical advisory meeting which I actually blew off a couple times because the office came first.
Wow! You had one weekly meeting a month! That's amazing!
Was that it was full of "I WANTS" instead of "I HAVE'S". And the "I HAVE'S" were generally of no value. If I need something, I'll buy it instead of hunting through hundres of thousands of messages. The 50+ female crowd makes since to me though. My GF's grandmother goes to garage sales every week and brings back all kinds of crap and then brags about how she only paid a dollar for it. Se's quite the bargain hunter. She occassionally comes back with nice stuff. An antique table $15. A P4 PC (with monitor) $20. Personally, I'm not patient enough to go house to house to find a $20 computer, but I guess you look at things differently if you grew up during the depression.
I didn't RTFA, but it sounded like people were upset cause the stats weren't handed to them. I would think that the MLB would have no problems selling the stats to fantasy leagues. If thats not the case, some 3rd party could make a lot of money selling "unoffical" stats that are just pulled off of MLB's website.
I think the UI is fine too. And I am fine with paying $1.99 to stream a video. I don't understand what the fuss over the DRM is. The fee doesn't buy you a copy of the film. It's an "admission" watch the video. When you goto a theater to see a movie, you don't own a copy with an admission ticket. Most anything I would buy from them I would only watch once any how. And who would want to have copies of streaming quality movies on their PC anyway (thats not porn)? If I can't put it in my DVD player and watch it in DVD quality on my big screen with surround sound, its not worth keeping around. Oh yeah, they have those already for purchase. They're called DVD's. Downloadable burn-it-yourself DVD's would be ideal, but I would expect the price tag for one of those to be a LITTLE more than $1.99.
Has anyone seen that Outer Limits episide where they have nano-technology and they use it on some guy to cure his cancer I think. As the episode goes on, the nanobots refused to let the man die through his many attempts at suicide, repairing stab wounds, burns etc. By the end of the episode, he had gills and and eyes on the back of his head.
Take a look at your dollar bills "In god we thrust", how can a country be cosmopolite if there is a predominant religion which I bet your constitution embraces.
Yes, it also has an illuminati "all seeing eye" symbol called the Shining Delta with the words: "Novus Ordo Seclorum ( which can be translated to 'a new order of the ages')". The eye signifies the Illuminati's "all-seeing" infiltration of government and community. The triangle (or delta) around the eye is the mathematical symbol for change (the Illuminati's ultimate goal was to bring about massive change in the form of a secular New World Order.) And finally, the rays of light shining off the triangle signify enlightenment and illumination (i.e., intellectual freedom from the dangerous "myth" of religion.)
Just goes to show that the church wasn't the only influential group in America's founding fathers.
Folks on Digg thought it looked like a Lemur, but after reading that wiki on Fossa's, I agree with you, a Fossa is a likely canidate. It's a terrible picture they have, so its hard to tell. Reguardless, it's very unlikely its a totally new species. I'll wait until a reliable source is able to capture/study one and confirm its a new species before I'll believe it.
Criminal's also like to avoid houses with dogs. Let's give the dogs guns!

I suspect its the "Faster Fox" extension.
Employeers are not allowed to ask you what religion you practice. If they do, refuse to answer.

Agreed. My cell phone and cable internet are all I need.
While humorous, I think that would classify as Evil.

You can't copyright the facts. But you can't expect the league to provide a statistics download stream for fantasy leagues free of charge either.

I thought it was going to be about Adobe's ColdFusion to. Seems more likely than the "the thing".

Rather, rinse, repeat.
Rather?
And if you act now, you can recieve one full month of my phone records too for an additional $40!
I think you mean 10 types of people in the binary world...
Naw, the 11 is pretty funny. "Three types of people.. those who can count and those who can't" binary style.
Here is a fairly good explination of several different theories of the all seeing eye, including both Joseph Campbell and Illuminati.

Or perhaps a Fossa?
