Perhaps I was indeed in error when I commented that had a addiction for said substances. Anyone is can make the the comment that the shadow books where, and I quote, "where amazing books" is clearly suffering from something far beyond any delusion that can be cause by artificial means.

I would suggest that you abandon whatever you in the current process of doing and seek immediate medical attention for what ever condition you have. Alas I'm not a doctor, nor one proficient (and grammer + spelling is escaping me today) in the medical arts. I don't even play a doctor on TV. But I would suggest shock therapy. Climbing, naked, into a pool with 6 or 7 live electric eels should do the job. If not it would surly keep your mind off of your other problems.

"Amazing books.." God that was a good laugh.

I really hated Xenocide and Children of the Mind just a little less so. I like Speaker though. As for the shadow books, I sort of like the first one. I just mentally edited out the parts that made bean look like a god and ender like bumbling idiot. I made it halfway through the next shadow book, said "fuck it", and used it to even up the legs on a end table.

Ender's Game was my favorite book for a long time. The "sequel" have spoiled it to the point that I can no longer even think of reading it. Same Card has to piss on it all.

Speaker for the dead was the best of the books after Enders Game and Ender's Game was the best and should have stood alone. There should only one and all that jazz.

We won't even bother with the shadow books. Books that never should have been written.

Absolutely. Just because we can't treat the world, yet, doesn't mean we treat nobody. I heard a quote on the radio of 50,000 AIDS patients in the U.S. Don't know if that number is accurate or not. While 50K is no small number its chump change compared to 33 million in africa. I could actually see us making this available even on public funds for that many.

To bad we can come up with genetic neutral bone marrow source.

Of course the odds of HIV+ Africans finding a compatable marrow doner aren't that great

Okay, now that the africans have been brought up the question has to be ask. Who is going to pay for this? This is not a simple drug to be given, this is a full blown medical procedure that can cost several thousand dollars. A real quick google search shows there are 33 million infected with AIDS living in africa in 2007. Based on cost alone there is no way we can treat that many people. Then there is the logistics.

Then there is the moral and ethical costs to be considered. A lot of AIDS is being spread in africa because they refuse to act responsible on a individual and government level. Even though they have AIDS many people still continue to have sex with out precautions or even being on treatment. There are so many of them and given the lack of technology it's impossible to track these people.

He'll go down as one of the most unpopular presidents in American history and they want to shift the blame on any one but their favorite monkey.

I don't think that Clinton was the best president we have had but I will admit one thing. He knew how to delegate. He also was smart enough to surround himself with people who knew what they where doing. That is what made the Clinton presidency so successful.

I didn't vote for O'bama. I voted straight independent across the board. I didn't think any of them would win but I voted for what I though was right. I was positive that O'bama had this election in the bag and the republicans can thank one man, Bush.

I'm still not sure if O'bama will make a good president. I'm still thinking he is a 4 year Lame Duck. But I will admit that I liked that speech he gave last night, almost sold me. I'm willing to give him a chance.
