Ah, the pressures of Touring. That reminds me of a question. I have no idea who this "artist" is. But, I would like to ask him if he has any riders in his contract? Van Halen used to have a rider in their touring contract that their dressing room would have a bowl filled with M&M's, but that there could be absolutely no green M&M's in that bowl.
Yeah, kinda gives something away, especially if you've seen all the episodes.
When I made my reply, I was referring to the status of one character (the President, actually). I didn't realize that the UK folks were referring to another character.
The reference to Amazon UK makes me think of one thing. Since the UK has already completed the series, some of the plotlines have been spoiled for those of us on the left side of the pond. I would hope that the producers of the show would try to keep all global viewers on roughly the same episode every week. That would minimize the chance that I would find out that a character is shot five episodes before it actually happens.
The W4200HD has a native pixel resolution of 1024x768, and as such, isn't a true HD device, since it doesn't have enough pixels to draws a 1280x720 (720p) HDTV image. This is common among 42-inch PDPs, and to the W4200HD's credit, its PixelWorks video processor does a very good job scaling both 720p and 1080i HDTV images to fit onto its panel.
Not to defend Dell for calling it HD, but it appears they are not alone.
Dell is a smart company that runs a lean & mean R&D machine.
Dell might be a well run company. But, a "lean & Mean R&D machine"? I don't think so. Dell isn't known for inventing new products. They are known for taking someone else's invention and using their supply chain advantage to put that someone else out of business.
What's wrong with people that they think a game that allows you to beat up women, shoot cops and steal cars is fun?
I play a video game called Rome: Total War . In that game, I control armies with hundreds (sometimes thousands) of men. Those men march across open fields armed with swords, spears, bows/arrows, etc. Then, they kill each other in massive violent battles. I can actually see hundreds of dead bodies on the field when I am finished with a battle. When I capture an enemy city, I am given the option of Enslaving Half of that cities populace, or killing 90% of the populace in an effort to maintain control.
My game, which I love, is rated T (for Teen). Nobobody complains about the violence in my game. Why are you complaining about the violence in GTA?
I do agree with your sentiment on this issue. But, in this case:
Police eventually tracked down Park, who has 33 previous convictions of theft, to Kingsway Flats in Cambridge where he tried to escape by climbing over the balcony on February 10.
The guy has 33 convictions. Is there a point where rehabilitations can even work?
the burgler broke into his flat on Feb 4th, 2005... and was sentenced 11 days later on Feb 15; the Brit's don't mess around!
If the US Court System had a case with similar evidence, I doubt it would take them more than a couple of weeks, either. This is for two reasons: Our system of law borrows heavily from the English system; and this is purely a case of burglary. It is not something complex, like corporate fraud.

Because geeks lust after Terry Hatcher.
lol
In that production, did they call the female angel "Clarence"?
Yeah, I realized that after I submitted my post. Just take my word for it, I don't put spoilers in my /. postings. :)

I saw that shot more than a few times back when Starbuck was a man.
I saw that too. Kind of a spoiler.
Wrong! I have a big TV, and my penis is decidedly average in size.

If your question on who Abe Vigoda is hasn't been answered yet, click here.
Look up. Do you see that? It's the joke. It's going over your head.
Sorry. I must disagree. Flooding the Larry King Show with fake calls is somewhat funny. Flooding a 911 center with fake calls is NOT.
You may thank them, but the rest of us won't. :)
Are saying is that no one at Google is doing anything today?

Sounds like you didn't click on my link. :)
Obviously, Slasdhdot did not consult you before creating this.
Obviously, someone doesn't read their company memos.
It does. IE already includes a few dozen undocumented features.
Does this mean that you don't have to spell to be an MS developer? Yeah, I know, the poster may not have been a developer....
