I have followed this whole argument and for the most part you, AEnertia, cannot write and you distract from your own message. Zeio and vsync64 have great points on the whole subject. I agree wholeheartedly with both.
Being a woman, I see no problem with any of the terms used in technology. I think you just suffer from being a loser who is failing at life and education. Please take a spelling class before ever posting again.

There are just some places and time when that doesn't work. Right now the job market sucks. This time last year there were pages of openings, and this year there are two columns of them. Around here it is relatively easy to get a job at Micky Dee's, but who wants to flip greasy beef? There are only 3 listings that are "professional" and two of those require a degree in teaching.
I had AOL for two years because I live in the middle of no where and that was the only choice besides "Bob's Dial-up" but then I changed to Eartlink because I got Linux on my machine. There is no DSL or Broadband out here yet. After I cancelled AOL and got them a different customer they billed me for another month and I had to call and try to get it refunded. They were hateful and said that I had never cancelled my account. I finally had vsync call them and he got them to refund my money and cancell it fully. Maybe their customer service reps cause them to miss out on more business...
Furby is a toy that should be used as a target. No one in the right state of mind would buy that toy for their kids. The one I had would over heat and smell bad, that was the good points.
I believe that this is a better alternative to medicine. I think it is interesting that it has taken this long to find out that "Everyone has a song in them...literally. And you can use it to put yourself to sleep."
I also believe that there is a cheaper alternative, and being in band for the last 8 years and taking some theory and history classes I have found that music is very powerful and that most people can't stand not to have music around. I have found that some types of music help evade car sickness even.
A person seams to lean toward one tyle of music that they like. That one type seems to sooth, comfort, and rejuvenate that person. I think that maybe that listening to that type of music quietly at night would have the same effect as the EEG.

I play four musical insterments
I am good at Chess, go and a lot of other strategic games
And I love crosswords.
The only thing I am not is left handed... yet I don't understand anything of programing and my boyfriend (vsync64) is a good prgrammer.
Some cartoons weren't ment for children. Most of the new cartoons I wouldn't let MY children watch. They are all full of sexual content and hidden meanings. However that does not make them unfunny for adults.
